Don Imus
For many people, Don Imus and his morning show “Imus In The Morning” dropped off their pop culture radio radar after he was dismissed from CBS Radio and MSNBC in April of 2007.
Don Imus’ exit was the result of racial and tasteless comments he made about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team.
Among other comments, he described the players as “rough girls”and “nappy-headed hos.”
OK, so he is nasty and rude to everyone and everything. But, Don Imus had crossed the line of no return…finally…
Since December of 2007, “Imus In The Morning” has been syndicated by ABC Radio and has been simulcast on the rural-oriented RFD-TV. RFD-TV airs primarily outdoor and farm related programming the remainder of the day.
Perhaps, pig farmers know a big pile of bull crap when they hear it?
There are some indications, however, the Imus may be moving to a cable channel which might instantly increase the visibility of his morning show.
Several sources close to the show claim “Imus In The Morning” is close to a deal which would move the show to the Fox Business Network.
According to sources, RFD-TV is looking to drop the show due to financial problems at the network. Fox Business Network has reportedly shown strong interest in the show, and it could make the move as early as September 1st, 2009.
First Palin is on the loose and now Don Imus…holy crapola!
If the move does take place, it would be considered a win for both parties. Imus, will get the chance for his show to get a promotional boost that RFD-TV simply can’t offer him.
The ratings challenged Fox Business Network, putting “Imus In The Morning” simulcast would offer the chance to tempt reticent viewers into giving the channel another look.
Well, Baby Boomers, it won’t be me, listening in… I am not a fan of Don Imus…and I am sure he is so not concerned!
The business channel currently airs the three hour live program “Money In The Morning” starring Jenna Lee and Connell McShane in the early morning time slot.
Look out Lee and McSharne, there is a smell of pig dirt coming your way…Don Imus is forth coming…

I think that he hates himself so badly that it spills over onto everyone else no matter who or whom they be.
I would be embarrased to say he is my father everyone is different in this world and that is a fact. I think if I were one of his children I would be constantly saying sorry for what he said.
If goes back on the radio anywhere he should not be heard because he just doesn’t know how to shut up and that is a fact.
