Clinton Gets Ling and Lee Pardoned from North Korea.
According to a senior administration official, former Vice President Al Gore, whose California based media outfit “Current TV,” which employs the imprisoned U.S. journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee and the families of Ling and Lee, asked former President Bill Clinton to travel to the North Korea and seek the release of Ling and Lee.

Clinton was dispatched to Pyongyang after the United States determined that his mission would be successful.
Clinton’s trip was strictly a private humanitarian mission and did not include pressing international issues, including North Korea’s nuclear issues with the U.S. and NATO.
Clinton Gets Ling and Lee Pardoned and today on August5th, 2009, North Korea pardons Ling, 32, and Lee, 36.
When released, they climbed a flight of stairs to the door of a jet, where they shook Clinton’s hand and began their trip back to the United States.
The American women have been under arrest since March of 2009 sentenced to 12 years and are finally en route to Los Angeles where Ling and Lee will be reunited with their families.
Ling and Lee were arrested in March while reporting from the border between North Korea and China and sentenced in June to 12 years of hard labor on charges of entering the country illegally to conduct a smear campaign.

I am so proud of Mr Clinton although I don’t like what he was doing with women while in the White House I will set that aside because these women are home because of the work he and his wife did to free them.
