Endeavour and the seven member crew lifted off on July 15th, 2009, after five previous launch attempts due to weather and technical issues on a mission to the international space station.
Endeavour and Astronauts Return Safe In Florida and I am surprised that they returned today, as the weather is rainy here.
Once at the station, the crew met with the six inhabitants, bringing the number of astronauts ever assembled in space to a record high of lucky 13.
The Endeavour did a switch off and dropped off American astronaut Timothy L. Kopra and in exchange, picked up Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata for the return trip to Earth.
Also dropped off were several key components for Japan’s Kibo science laboratory. The lab is also called the Japanese Experiment Module, Kibo. It is Japan’s first human space facility and has been in the making for more than 20 years.
According to NASA, the Endeavour’s primary mission was to install a porch like platform for the international space station.

I am just so glad that there wasn’t a problem with their return because it really scares me a great deal because of the past accidents.
I still think even today that the trip to the moon was a fake and we swallowed it hook line and sinker.
I don’t know what we are “building” this space station just more money being spent for no reason but because I even think that is fake but that is the way I feel.
