Tennessee-Alabama Killings Related and are described as “A gruesome scene.” An investigator described the aftermath of five killings in rural Tennessee and a sixth body, that was found in Alabama.

Kristin Helm of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told CNN on Saturday that authorities have Jacob Shafer in custody in connection with the deaths added that authorities are not looking for additional suspects.

Huntsville, Alabama, Police Sgt. Mickey Allen stated that Tennessee authorities told him a man confessed to a slaying in Huntsville, Alabama, and to five other killings in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Allen did not identify the man at that time.

Sheriff Murray Blackwelder, who held an afternoon news conference and called the killings “one of the worst crimes Lincoln County has ever seen.” He did not elaborate how the Lincoln County, Tennessee, victims died.

Fayetteville police responded to a call to South Lincoln Road about 10 a.m. (11 a.m. ET). Police found three crime scenes and five bodies on that street, Balckwater stated.

“The five victims, some of whom were related, were found in two homes. The authorities believe that the killings occurred either Friday night or early Saturday morning,” Helm stated.

and the sixth body was found at a business in Huntsville, Alabama Sheriff Allen said. He said he is unsure of the connection between the crime scenes in Tennessee and Alabama. Huntsville is only 30 miles from Fayetteville, Tennessee. The sixth body was found based on the suspects information, police found a body at Hall Cultured Marble Granite late Saturday morning.

“We have no clue yet as to what unfolded there and how it relates to here,” Allen stated.

Tennessee-Alabama Killings Related and the suspect, Jacob Shaffer, 30, of Huntsville, Alabama, is in custody in Lincoln County, and charges have yet to be filed. Authorities found Shaffer on the porch of one of the Fayetteville homes.

    MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF THE FAMILIES INVOLVED IN THIS HORRIBLE CASE INCLUDING THE POLICE FAMILIES THAT WERE THE FIRST RESPONDERS NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
