Artscape Baltimore 2009
Artscape Baltimore 2009 Artscape is scheduling more dance performances than ever before in it’s 28 year history of Baltimore’s free summer celebration of the arts.
“A lot of people say that there isn’t an audience for dance in Baltimore, but based on our experience, that certainly isn’t true,” says Bill Gilmore, the executive director of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts.
Artscape Baltimore 2009, free, three day event will feature eight performances by two troupes with national and international reputations, There is the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and Acrobats of China. Surely both crowd pleasers.
Live entertainment includes Dionne Warwick, Cake, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Robin Thicke, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Acrobats of China, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra…and lots more fun, even for the kids. There is something on the schedule for everyone to enjoy!
