Sarah Palin 2009-Soon The Ex-Governor Of Alaska

sarahpalin13 Sarah Palin 2009 Soon The Ex Governor Of Alaska

Sarah Palin 2009-Soon The Ex-Governor Of Alaska had an almost perfect existence before a year or so ago.She has a seemingly loving family. Sure they have the usual family issues.

Be aware that all of us have different challenges in life. She ruled Alaska with a fair amount of popularity. She has financial security with her husband Todd. Unfortunately, that was all going to change.

Often we make a decision which in hindsight looks not so acceptable. At the time she accepted the Republican nomination, all looked positive and supportive. Frankly, no one’s ego could refuse to run for the spot of Vice President of the United States. That’s when all the fun stopped and the continuing horror began.

Sarah Palin 2009-Soon The Ex-Governor Of Alaska was thrust into the spotlight with lots of undercurrent from politicians from both parties. She did a fabulous job with her speeches. She was called upon with great disdain a few mistakes that she made. She was under the big light, and people were waiting for her to fail. She was blamed for spending money that she did not want. She was even sued for it.

Sarah Palin 2009-Soon The Ex-Governor Of Alaska and the big issue is how smart is it for her to resign today.

Personally, I think very smart. She is plagued with huge bills from lawsuits, and is constantly harassed. Sarah Palin is one smart lady, and will come out smelling like a rose. I am pretty sure not too many roses grow in Alaska. She will get huge fees for speaking, book royalties and hopefully she will start to enjoy some peace of mind. Perhaps she has a few law suits of her own in mind.

What does Sarah Palin’s future hold? I would venture to say that she is not really sure herself what lies ahead. The big question is if she will run for 2012 election. There have been more opinions on Sarha Palin than perhaps any other woman in office, except maybe Nancy Pelosi. I do not want to get into that!

It is quite possible, that many are jealous of her guts, ambition, achievements and great figure and looks.

  1. Hello Carol…

Thanks you for the great post.

As you know we both feel differently about Sarah Palin. Let’s make that “very differently.”

But, answer me this…when you vote for a man who is runny for office, do you vote for him because he has “guts, ambition, achievements and great figure and looks.” and a woman…or do you choose a candidate because they are fighting for what you want in government. Because they want what you want for the people.

Do you think that religion should be brought into politics? Do you believe that church and state are two separate ideas and should be kept as such? Especially with such diverse religions that there are in the U.S.?

Personally, I do not want anyone’s religion or beliefs shoved down my thoat. Most of Sarah Palins beliefs were enough to make me gag and I felt set women back more than 50 years and were an insult to what women have accomplished during that time.

Because Palin sure did play on the religious aspects of politics. That and her disabled child and the armed forces. That being said, what was her political agenda…besides trying to get the womens votes for the GOP?

Personally, I never saw one. But, she did make for a good Barbie doll and everyone loves Barbie. Personally, I never played with dolls.

It is still thumbs down on Sarah Palin for me. She would have to be running against Charles Manson for me to vote for her and even then I would have to give it considerable consideration before I voted for her…

    Southern smiles and world peace,

I take Sarah Palin at her word, she resigned because of the constant harassing “ethics” complaints, and the unwillingness of the Alaskan democrats, AND republicans to work with her for the benefit of Alaska, and the country. I also take her at her word that she is going to work to bring about change on the national level. I look forward to her remaining, and even getting bigger and stronger on the national stage.

I’m not sure what some women are carping about. Isn’t feminism supposed to be about women climbing as far as they can. Sarah Palin got to be the governor of Alaska without the benefit of a party machine, a rich family or riding her husbands coattails. In other words, she’s a self made woman. Just as I admire a self made man, I admire Gov. Palin for having done it all herself without help.

I know a lot of people object to her pro-life stand, but that is little reason for all the vitriolic hatred expressed towards her by people like Sharon (above).

I see Palin’s resignation is just another indication of her willingness to make tough decisions, she never votes “present.” She’s tough, and gutsy, and I like that.

    • Hello gatshanson…welcome to BBAC, thanks for leaving a comment.

Do you also support Palins’ stance on killing wolves and bears? Especially from air planes and helicopters?

Did you also agree with the money that was spent on her hair and clothes during the campaign? In a time of economic problems in the U.S.? Do you have no problem with monies that she spent (hundreds of thousands of dollars) on hairdo’s and clothes when there are people losing their jobs and homes and children and the elderly going to bed hungry every night?

Would it not have been “gutsier” to say NO to the GOP? I can not accept these monies when this is happening in America. If she had…then I would have respected her.

She is an opportunist and her action in resigning, proves it even more.

  3. Welcome Greg…

Of course, I welcome opinions of a different nature than mine…it goes with out saying that I would like to understand why…

…why it is that people praise movie stars and such and ignore brain surgeons that truly help people and other true heroes of America.

It’s people that allow folks like Palin and George Bush to bypass all the truly qualified candidates in the country and skip their way to power and fame without a hint of what they are doing.

I would vote for Snoopy the Dog for President…before I would vote for Sarah Palin for snake catcher.

    Opinionated as always,
    Sharon
