Rev Al Is A Racist?

Rev Al Is A Racist? That is the hot question floating around the Internet today. I am pertaining to the speech made by Rev Al Sharpton at the recent Michael Jackson Memorial.
Here is my personal reply.
If there were no white and black lines in America there would be no racism. Too generalized for you?
Rev Al Is a Racist? Rev Al Sharpton a racist. Not in my book. To me, Rev Al Sharpton is an activist. I feel that this video pretty much covers what is going on in the news today, even though it is several months old.
People in general do not have an idea of what it is to be an Afro American, a handicapped person, someone from another country, someone poor or homeless, a fat person, a gay, a little person or even a person with some type of disfigurement, until you yourself are in that position, you are clueless.
I am not feeling the love here Baby Boomers…
Rev Al Is A Racist? No, but there is a large majority of America out there who are. If you want to look for racists, try the KKK or the Neo-Nazi groups and there are so many more. The list of hate groups is to vast to list. But…you know who they are…the superior race, those who must belittle someone, to make their lives to seem better, more important.
Rev Al Is a Racist? Many think that Reverend Al Sharpton has offended Michael Jackson fans and people of different races all over the world after making racially charged allegations that Michael Jackson hasn’t been treated the same as other stars who have died, because he was black.
Rev Al Is a Racist? Rev. Al Sharpton stated Sunday at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Los Angeles, “I am here because of the disgraceful and the despicable way some elements of the media have tried to destroy the legacy and image of Michael Jackson.”
“You have had other entertainers that have had issues in their life. But you (referring to the media) did not degrade and denigrate them…Show the same respect for Michael and Michaels’ family that you showed Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.”
- Rev Al Is A Racist? NO…

Reverend Al is always exploiting racism to get on TV or in the paper.
I found his speech for his family and not for blacks or whites just to help his family during this really tough time.
I think it was a liitle over the top about him helping Mr Obama but maybe he did I really can’t go that far.
Michael was a tortured child from the age of five (5) and that what drove him to doing things he shouldn’t have done he was so unloved he went in wrong directions to get the attention he needed so badly from his father.
He made his children feel good about their father and that is what was so important for them.
I think it was a little over the top to say he helped Mr Obama to become President since Mr Obama bought the votes and to get the White House maybe Michael gave him the money to buy to votes.
