Former skating champ Nicole Bobek, 31, has been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. She has been busted on drug charges.

Nicole Bobek, 31, made her first appearance in court on Monday, July 6th, 2009, regarding her arrest.

Nicole is from Jersey, but last week she was arrested from Florida. In Hudson County. She was arrested for attempting to sell drugs.

Once Nicole Bobek represented her country and was a professional athlete but now she has been charged and believed to be a part of a New Jersey methamphetamine drug ring.

Sam DeLuca, as Bobek’s lawyer and entered a a not guilty plea for Nicole.She is being held on a bail of $200,000. If convicted she probably faces up to 10 years in prison.

DeFazio, whose office conducted a probe stated today, Nicole’s name was being withhold until she could be arrested. Defazio also stated, she played a significant role in this operation,”

DeFazio stated that with her help we caught a dozen more people involved in the ring. He said that it is yet to confirm that whether she used the drug or involved in the distribution business for the gold.
