2009 Ugliest Dog Contest Winner was won by Pabst. He is a boxer-mix, rescued from a shelter by Miles Egstad of Citrus Heights, California.

Every year in Petaluma California the annual contest for the ugliest Dog takes place. This year. it was on Friday, June 26th, 2009, at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Northern California.

The 2009 Ugliest Dog Contest Winner, Pabst has a prominent under-bite, scrunched face and floppy ears. That was 2009′s winning hallmarks.

It was an upset victory for Pabst, who beat another former champion, Rascal, a pedigree Chinese Crested.

Pabst’s owner took home $1,600 in prize money, pet supplies and a modeling contract with House of Dog.

Another 2009 Ugliest Dog Contest Winner, was Miss Ellie, a blind 15 year old Chinese Crested Hairless, who won the pedigree category. Baby Boomer, don’t you just love a good dog story?
