Cory Aquino Died, Saturday, August 1st, 2009. She was a national treasure who gave her all, including her husband for her nation. Former President of the Philippines, Corazon Aquino, defeated a dictator with a “people power” revolt and then sustained democracy by fighting off seven coup attempts in six years, has died. She was 76.

Cash for Clunkers Qualifying Cars has been given a new lease on life when the House Approves $2B to Extend Cash for Clunkers Program, on Friday, July 31, 2009. The House approved a bill to provide an additional $2 billion to continue the federal government’s “cash for clunkers” program.
