Newborn Abandoned Baby Found In Shoe Box In Long Island Apartment Lobby. She was found in a Timberland shoebox, clean safe and warm, far from the hard hitting rain out side. She had a breathing hole in the box and clean clothes. Her umbilical cord was cut and tied with dental floss. But, where is the Mother who tried to take care of her?
Newborn Abandoned Baby Found In Shoe Box In Long Island Apartment Lobby and Nassau County police are searching for the person who left the newborn baby girl in the box in the lobby of an apartment building at 5 Lafayette Avenue, in Hempstead, NY. on Sunday evening, June 21st, 2009, on Father’s Day.
The little newborn girl was found at 9:21 p.m. Sunday, police stated and she was taken immediately to the Nassau University Medical Center.

This is a sad and horrible story all at that same time because someone didn’t want this baby for some reason we know not why but at the very least this person put the baby in a safe place but at the most she or he could have taken this little baby to a hospital or fire station.
