So, where was little Caylee all that time? It was on the same street as the Anthony’s home, where Casey and Caylee were living at the time…and less than a mile and a half away.
The meter reader, Roy Kronk stated that he contacted the authorities three times in August to say he had seen a suspicious bag in the area. A deputy was ultimately fired for not properly searching the area, when called to view the bag.
Those remains were confirmed through DNA testing to be little Caylee Anthony.
The small group sang “You Are My Sunshine” and at the end of the vigil, butterflies were released in memory of murdered and missing children. One butterfly flew and landed on a flower arrangement that was in memory of little Caylee Anthony.
