Dead Soldier’s Dog Comes To The United States-Steven Hutchison. That’s right Baby Boomers, Major Steven Hutchison, 60,  was the oldest soldier to die in Iraq. He died on May 10th, 2009, in Basra Iraq, when a bomb hit his jeep.

While he was in Iraq, he saved a dog that had a broken leg and that dog has now made it to the United States. The dog will reside with Richard Hutchison, Steven Hutchison’s brother.
