Cancer Ridden Bulldog Saves Owner From Burning House

Cancer Ridden Bulldog Saves Owner From Burning House in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mans best friend has saved the his best friend, when Brittney, a bulldog, saved his humans’ life by waking him up when their house caught fire. Scott’s decision not to end his terminally ill bulldog’s life has wound up saving his own.
Here Is The Story:
Two weeks earlier, a veterinarian discovered that Brittney, a 9 year old American bulldog had several cancerous tumors. Given the age of the dog and where the tumors were, Brittney might not survive the surgery and Scott Seymour, Brittney’s human, ruled out chemotherapy, believing it would be too hard on his beloved bulldog Brittney.
Seymour stated that “he could have had Brittney put down, but instead decided to give her medication to dilute her pain until death comes naturally. Prognosis…probably within a few weeks.
Cancer Ridden Bulldog Saves Owner From Burning House and Scott Seymour says that that his dog, Brittney had not woke him up with her barking early Saturday, May 23rd, 2009, this story could have had a different ending. The house may be a total loss but both Scott and Britney escaped safely from their inflamed home.
I love a good dog hero story, don’t you Baby Boomers? Miracles happen every day and some times we are able to see them. You’re a good dog, man’s best friend and today’s you are BBAC’s Hero of The Day…Brittney!
UPDATE:Cancer Ridden Bulldog Saves Owner From Burning House I have just learned that Brittney had to be sent to Dog Heaven only days after the fire. Perhaps she was just hanging around to save Scott and her job was done. We will never know, but our sympathy goes out to Scott who will surely miss his belovedĀ Brittney, dog hero.

These are the kind of stories that make me cry but in a good way you see the dog will always love him no matter what pain he might be in and that is a the way it is.
These are the kind of stories that should be all over the NEWS because it is a feel good story and there is so little to feel good about these days and that is a fact.
MAY GOD BLESS THIS GENTLEMAN AND HIS WONDERFUL DOG NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
