Tuesday, May 26th, 2009, California’s Supreme Court upheld a ban on same-sex marriages that voters passed in November of 2008, But The Battle Will Continue…
In the United States, there are four states that currently allow same-sex marriages, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and Iowa.
The same courts rule that those already married, about 18,000 same-sex marriages performed before the ban are to remain valid.
