Calf Born With Calf Born With 7 Legs and 2 Spines-In Steamboat Springs Colorado Animal Hospital

Calf Born With 7 Legs and 2 Spines-In Steamboat Springs Colorado Animal Hospital but only lived a few minutes, on Thursday, May 21st, 2009.
Veterinarian Lee Meyring and the staff at the Steamboat Veterinary Hospital helped delivered a Black Angus calf, which was delivered by cesarean section. But the twist was that it had two spines but one head. One leg also had two hooves.
The calf lived for only about 10 minutes. Veterinarian Lee Meyring stated that the birth was an incomplete splitting of the embryo into twins.
The vet said that he had previously seen a calf with a fifth leg, but the seven legged calf was the most bizarre he had ever seen.
The cows owners do not want to be identified.
Calf Born With 7 Legs and 2 Spines-In Steamboat Springs Colorado Animal Hospital is a pretty bizarre birth and a several hundred years ago it would have been the sign of the devil. Now we know it was just an act of nature. What a difference a day makes.

This sounds like there should have been a twin born but they didn’t separate when they were being formed.
As long as the cow is not suffering with any kind of pain at all let him live as long as he can but as soon as there is any kind of suffering with this animal put him down but that is the way I feel.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF HIS CREATURES BIG OR SMALL NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL AND IS!!!
