Drew Peterson Pleads NOT Guilty to 1st Degree Murder of 3rd Wife-Kathleen Savio, not that I expected anything else. Former police officer, Drew Peterson entered the “not guilty plea” in Will County, Illinois.
But the good part of the day, happened when he is still on a 20 million dollar bail. Drew’s attorney was seeking bail to be set at 500K, which Drew could afford to bond himself out. Personally, I hope he never sees the light of day again.
Investigators have named Drew Peterson as a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson.
His third wife’s death was originally deemed an accident, an accidental drowning in a dry tub where there was not even a spot of water…but after the disappearance of Drew Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, Savio’s death sparked new questions. Kathleen Savio’s body was exhumed and a grand jury indicted Peterson in May 2009, on a charge of first degree murder in her death.

After Stacy Peterson disappeared in October of 2007, it was revealed that Savio had died in 2004 during a very nasty divorce, which would have been a financial ruin for good old Drew…
Once again, Drew has denied any wrong doing in either case. He has maintained that Stacy Peterson left him for another man.
During this time, Stacy Peterson’s Mother also disappeared. She was making one big ruckus as to where her daughter was. It appears, she has been silenced as well.
Kathleen Savio died just days before the finalization of the division of the Petersons’ marital assets, leaving Drew Peterson the sole beneficiary from a mysterious new will. Go figure…
After authorities exhumed Kathleen’s body and conducted further tests, her death was ruled a “homicide staged to look like an accident.”
Peterson resigned his job as a sergeant with the Bolingbrook, Illinois, police department shortly before the body was exhumed.
