University of Georgia Professor-George Zinkhan’s Jeep Has Been Found in Bogart, Georgia…but with out George Zinkhan. He is still on the run and it amazes me that he has not been captured yet.
Zinkhan’s red Liberty Jeep was found Friday, April 24th, 2009…according to Athens-Clarke County police.
Accused shooter and killer of three people, including his wife, George Zinkhan’s vehicle has been found.
Police state that the red Jeep Liberty was found in on Cleveland Road near Fowler Mill Road in Bogart, an Athens suburb in northwestern Clarke County. They still consider him dangerous.
Authorities say that the vehicle was positioned in a way to make the scene look like an accident, which was near a school, Cleveland Road Elementary. The school was immediately placed on lock down as a precaution.
Gunfire and hysteria erupted April, 25th, 2009, at a gathering of a local theater group at the Athens Community Theater. Killed were Zinkhan’s wife, Marie Bruce, 47, an attorney, and two members of her theater group, Ben Teague, 63, and Tom Tanner, 40. Zinkhan disappeared after the shootings in his red Jeep Liberty.
Zinkhan, 57, was a marketing professor at the University of Georgia, where classes resumed Monday, two days after the shootings, but security was very tight, with police carrying rifles around campus. University Police Chief Jimmy Williamson stated there was little reason to believe that the shooter, Zinkhan was still in Athens.
In a federal court affidavit filed earlier this week, FBI Special Agent Gregory McClendon stated that Delta Airlines confirmed Zinkhan had a ticket to Amsterdam for Saturday.
Zinkhan has a house in Amsterdam, where he also teaches. The Vrije Universiteit, meaning Free University. Vrije Universiteit confirmed Zinkhan has taught part time since April of 2007, visiting for about six weeks each year.

Regarding the Zinkhan case, I’ve got an idea…Don’t screw with another person’s wife/husband, & you won’t get you ass shot! Run, George, Run!!!
This man needs to found and fried right away and don’t say she has a mental problem just don’t go there and that is a fact.
