Diabetic and Heart Healthy Recipe-Honey Peanut Butter Milk Ball Recipe is a very easy and quick recipe for a diabetic and a hearth healthy snack. Even your grand children can help you. make and eat them.
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Peanut Butter, creamy
1/2 cup Milk, nonfat/skim, dry
1/2 cup Cereal, corn flakes , crushed (place cereal in a baggy, when crushed, the honey milk balls can be coated in the same bag…no mess)
DIRECTIONS:
1- Mix honey and peanut butter.
2- Gradually add dry milk and mix well.
3- Chill for easier handling.
4- With greased hands, form into small balls.
5- Roll in crushed cereal flakes.
6- Chill until firm.
7- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
Additional Information:
Note: Honey should not be given to children less than one year of age.
Recipe Tips:
Add chocolate powder, coconut flakes and chopped nuts to the outer coatings, depending on the amount of extra calories you want to use.
