Missing Eunice Workman Laid Dead In Her Home For 7 Years Missing and her relatives had no idea where the elderly woman had gone when they reported her missing seven years ago.
She was 77 years old when she died and all that they found were some bones between the bed and some boxes. Apparently the rats and bugs had eaten her flesh away. Her finally resting place was under a pile of debris in her own home.
Eunice’s home that was up for sale for back taxes and her family had finally come to clean it out. Eunice had lived in the home for 10 years before her disappearance.
Workman’s daughters were cleaning out the two story north Oakland home Wednesday when they finally discovered their Mother’s body in a second floor bedroom.
Authorities plan to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
But who is going to find out why her daughters and family did not look for her when she went missing? The smell of a dead body would have given away where she was if anyone had looked for her.
If my Mother was missing, I would have searched high and low for her…searched her house for clues as to what happened to her. Perhaps she could have been saved if someone had looked for her when she came up missing. Eventually I would have smelled the body decomposing.
