Lot Where Caylee Anthony’s Body Was Found Is For Sale For $89,000 and guess who just might buy it? Leonard Padilla wants to turn it into a memorial.

The yellow crime scene tape is gone, media crews seldom visit, and the protesters have gone home but the memorial is still a reminder that little Caylee Anthonys’ body was found there.

The vacant lot near her grandmothers home is not something you would pick to build a home on. It is basically a cypress swamp. Under water at times, filled with snakes and undergrowth. Not even an acre of land…Yet the property on Suburban Drive where investigators found little Caylee bones has turned into a massive shrine. Hundreds of stuffed animals stacked in mounds, wood signs signed by strangers, plus a variety of crosses and statues, still tell you that it is a memorial.

Who is the potential buyer? Leonard Padilla, the California bounty hunter who helped get Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, out of jail last summer.

Leonard Padilla has offered $50,000 for the land, but hasn’t heard back from the real estate agent on his bid for the property on Hopespring Drive.

Padilla has stated that he wants it to be a memorial for little Caylee Anthony and “I’d let the people decide what they want put there.”

One of BBAC’s readers has created and placed an over sized pink cross that says “IN MEMORY OF CAYLEE.” There are more crosses and signs that are covered with hand written notes left by visitors.

An Ohio family was one of many who signed an over sized hear wrote, “You are in God’s Hands! We want to see you there!”.

Even the no-trespassing signs and trees can’t escape the mementos. They, too, are covered with stuffed animals, posters and photos of Caylee.

Orange County officials say they have no plans to remove the memorial, which is on private property.

What about the neighbors? Well, speculation is that they aren’t likely to applaud Padilla’s idea to buy the land and turn it into a permanent memorial.

Attorney Karen Wonsetler, who represents the Chickasaw Oaks Phase Three Homeowners Association, said the community is “absolutely against” the bounty hunter’s plans and states, “If we have a shrine literally in the middle of our association, it’s going to encourage unwanted traffic, unwanted attention, and we do not want this.”

Lot Where Caylee Anthony’s Body Was Found Is For Sale For $89,000 and I really can’t see who else would want that property. The owner should take the money and run straight to the bank.

If this is happening now someone that really cared for Caylee should buy it and clean it up and make it a park for people to go there if they want to and put things there in memory of this innocent child. I personally don’t think it is a good idea but if people are leaving stuffed animals and other things may as well clean it up and make it a useable piece of land.

MAY GOD BLESS CAYLEE FOR ALL TIME NOW AND FOREVER AS I AM SURE HE WILL BECAUSE SHE IS SITTING ON HIS RIGHT HAND SIDE WHERE ALL OF BABIES ARE HAPPY!!!
