AIG Uses Taxpayer Money to Pay Themselves $165 Million In Bonuses

It’s very hard to figure out who annoys you more these days.  A mom having 14 kids in the hopes that it will make her rich, Bernie Madoff ripping folks off for billions and then crying to stay in his $7 million dollar apartment, or AIG Insurance executives begging the government for hundreds of millions in bailout money and then paying themselves $165 million in totally outrageous bonuses. 

Now, they are making statements that they are “afraid for their lives” as many of them receive death threats from the American public.   To put it bluntly, Americans are pissed off. 

Well, do the right thing and give the money back.  It’s not like they earned it.  Even if you ignore the fact that they ran one of America’s strongest companies into the ground, there is no excuse for taking taxpayer money and using it to lavish your inner circle with wild bonus checks. 

As for the three choices above, who do you think is the most unbelievable?

Amazing.  The government did something 90% right.  That’s better than the normal 50%.
