spider1 Worlds Deadliest Spider Found In Bananas at Whole FoodsOne of the world’s deadliest spiders was found crawling on a bunch of Bananas inside the Whole Foods grocery store in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Brazilian Wandering Spider is known for killing more people around the world than any other species.  The spider was caught in a plastic food container by one of the store’s employees who is actually very lucky to be alive.

The Brazilian Wandering Spider has a venom that is highly toxic and can kill a person in less than 30 minutes.  The venom is said to work from the inside out by breaking down tissues and organs.

According to Wikipedia, the spiders are very aggressive…Yipes, I hate spiders!

They have a distinctive defensive display in which the body is lifted up into an erect position, the first two pairs of legs are lifted high (revealing the conspicuous black striped pattern on their underside), while the entire animal sways from side to side. -Wikipedia.org

It is believed that the spider caught a ride to the United States from Honduras.

Thank God is was caught before it bit someone or a dog or anything else.

I just hope more of these that were not found took a ride to the United States because I don’t think we want little ones running around.
