Join The Virtual Vigil-Help Illuminate The Way To Life Without Alzheimer’s …Find out how you can join the Join The Virtual Vigil and help fight Alzheimer’s.

With a new Congress and president, and competing national priorities demanding attention, it is more important than ever that you attend the Public Policy Forum. We know that as a caregiver, as a person with the disease and as an advocate, no one tells your story better than you.

So come to Washington and raise awareness of the disease, and tell our elected officials directly why they must make Alzheimer’s a national priority.

Dear BBAC Readers and Fellow Bloggers,

You’re invited to join us at an historic event

In 4 days, Alzheimer advocates will gather on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. to share their stories and light candles in honor of their loved ones impacted with Alzheimer’s disease.

This moving candlelight vigil is part of the 2009 Alzheimer’s Association Public Policy Forum – and we’re asking all of our Alzheimer supporters to show their solidarity with those in Washington by lighting a virtual candle and creating a moving and lasting online tribute.

The Alzheimer’s Association offers bloggers the opportunity to create a special Web page to honor caregivers and those who are living with Alzheimer’s, and to remember those we love who have been lost to the disease

Baby Boomers and fellow bloggers, if you haven’t already, please create your tribute page
by March 23
and help illuminate the way to a future without Alzheimer’s!

Thank you for taking this opportunity to show your support for our advocates on their way to Washington.

Sincerely,
Angela Geiger
Alzheimer’s Association
and
BBAC/The Baby Boomer Queen

I just can not imagine living with that horrible decease but the worse part the person that has this doesn’t really understand what is going on but the people that have to take care of them does and I am sure it has to be pure hell and that is a fact.

I was so fortunate that my mother lived to age of eighty-eight (88) and she was mentally sharp the only thing that killed her was the doctor by going into her brain after she fell to see if there was any bleeding and she knew there was not but he did anyway.

MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE THIS HORRIBLE DECEASE AND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
