Florida Prosecutors-Question Casey Anthony’s Legal Fees A Florida woman, Casey Anthony, accused of killing her 2 year old daughter, Caylee Anthony, says she has no clauses in her financial agreement with her attorney that would let her lawyer. Jose Baez, sell the rights to her story.
Ms. Anthony, 22, faces seven counts, including first-degree murder, in the death of her toddler daughter, Caylee Anthony.
Casey Anthony confirmed in a court motion Tuesday, March 10th, 2008, that she has signed an agreement with attorney Jose Baez.
That came after prosecutors filed a recent motion saying they worried the lawyer may be paid later by selling the rights to Anthony’s story.
Casey Anthony hand wrote in a sworn affidavit Tuesday that she believed prosecutors were angry because “I have refused to take a plea agreement for a crime that I did not commit.”
Casey Anthony is facing a first-degree murder charge after her daughter Caylee Anthony was found dead December 11Th, 2008, months after her disappearance.
