Dumb Story of the Day-Hero Ticketed for Jay Walking
A man, who sustained broken bones, bleeding in the brain, and many other injuries after helping some elderly women to avoid being hit by a pick up driver was ticketed by a State Police Officer for jaywalking.
Ryan Sullivan of the State Patrol in Denver said that while Jim Moffett’s “intentions were good,” jaywalking is what caused the accident.
Actually, it was the impatient and reckless driver of the truck that caused the accident because he did not want to wait for a few old ladies to cross the street so he whipped around stopped cars and nearly killed them. Meanwhile, a good samaritan that did the right thing gets a ticket and a nice hospital bill.

These kind of stories will stop other people from helping people that are in danger of getting hit by cars and other things.
Granted he was jay walking but he was doing for a reason to save a life or lives because he saw it coming and he wanted to stop it before it something happened really bad from happening.
I think the police could have waved the ticket for this time only because he wanted to save a life.
This is why cops get a bad name because they just don’t get it he was doing this to save a life and no other reason.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THIS ACCIDENT THAT WAS TRYING TO SAVE THE LIVES NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
