Illinois Illinois Republicans Plan Perjury Probe For Newly Seated Senator Burris, questioning if he “purposely deceived the public” January, 2009, by failing to tell state lawmakers that the now Ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich’s brother, solicited him for campaign cash on December 30th of 2008.

Burris confirmed Sunday that the Ex-Governor Blagojevich’s brother, Rob, asked him to contribute or help raise money before the governor.

“I made clear to him I would not contribute to Blagojevich, because it would be inappropriate because I had expressed my interest in the Senate seat. I did not donate one single dollar. stated Burris.”

Burris, who is a Democrat, has come under fire for leaving out the conversations during his January 8, 2009, testimony before the Illinois House impeachment panel investigating the governor. He emphasized Sunday that he addressed those conversations in an affidavit he submitted this month (February) to supplement his testimony.

I really don’t know what to say about these people in Illinois but if they feel he said or did something wrong get rid of him NOW and start all over again.

But they asked him if he had spoken to the Govenor he said NO because he had spoken to his brother. I don’t think that is the same. Do you?

If there are any questions before it goes much longer just get out of hand but the way I feel it seems who ever gets to close to Blagojevich he or she gets soiled.

The thing is he spoke to his brother and not the Governor himself but if that is considered a lie than get him out of his office TODAY and that is a fact.

I just have one question. Is all of Illinois rotten in politics?
