Caylee Anthony’s Grandfather-Released From Hospital After A Mental Breakdown from which he was Baker Acted…
George Anthony, age 57 and the grandfather of murdered Caylee Marie Anthony, was released from the hospital this evening. His wife Cindy came and picked him up, to take him home.
George Anthony was admitted to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach January 23, 2009 after threatening to commit suicide. His wife, Cindy Anthony picked him up, and they left between 7 and 7:30 p.m., family attorney Brad Conway said.
Anthony was hospitalized under the Baker Act, which allows the involuntary mental evaluation for up to 72 hours of a person deemed a likely danger to self or others. He stayed on voluntarily for treatment, Conway said.
Anthony was “getting therapy and resting and starting that journey back to finding the skills to cope with everything that’s happened and everything that’s going to happen,” the attorney said.
“He’s feeling good,” Conway said. “He’s ready. He’s totally receptive. And this is part of the healing process. He knows that his family needs him, and he’s ready to move forward.”
George Anthony who is 57, is reportedly no longer despondent and plans to continue his recovery with outpatient counseling, near his home. Those details where not given.
Caylee Anthony’s mother, And George and Cindy Anthony’s daughter, Casey Anthony, who is 22, is charged with little Caylee’s murder and remains jailed in Orange County without bail.
The last time little Caylee was seen was when Mother and daughter left the east Orange home they shared with Caylee’s grandparents on June 16. Caylee was not reported missing until in July by the Cindy Anthony. A meter reader found her remains on December 11Th, 2008 in some woods nearby the Anthony house. Caylee was only 2 years old and would have turned 3 in August.
Police using cell-phone pings to located George Anthony in a Daytona Beach motel, where they also found an apparent 5 page suicide note. His family reported him missing after he didn’t come home and sent text messages indicating that he wanted to end his life and go to Caylee Anthony. He took prescription medicine and drank alcohol in the room, his attorney said.
George Anthony is an ex-Ohio deputy sheriff and also worked in car sales. Anthony was apparently distraught over Caylee’s disappearance and death and under pressure from the national media spotlight from this horrific case, losing a grand daughter and having his daughter accused of her death.

This is a big game he is playing he knows who the father of that child is and he would do anything to get out of having to go into court and say anything.
Everybody seems to forget that he was and still is a cop and they know what to do to get out of any trouble.
Both he and Cindy knew way before thirty-one (31) days what happened to Caylee. Talk about someone who makes up stories you don’t have to look any further than Cindy and George or the brother all of them should be in jail for what they did to that innocent child and that is a fact.
All of them no exception knew what happened look at what Cindy did gave the wrong hair brush to the Feds. That in itself puts up such a big red flag that pole is not big and strong enough to hold it and that is another fact.
The only thing that Caylee did “wrong” she was born into a group of people who doesn’t care about anything but themselves. I say group because that really is not a family at all.
As the guy that came from California said Cndy runs the entire family whatever she says that is what will be done.
Who called the police? Cindy Who smelled something in the back of the care? Cindy. Who told George to say the lie when Casey left the house? Cindy.
Who made the statement to reporter without even being asked “Nobody will ever know who the father of Caylee not ever” Cindy.
Why would she say that if she didn’t already know.
As I said and I will continue saying they need to take the DNA from George and that is a fact. Then and only then they will know the truth.
If you remember rightly George wanted to go where the body was found but he stopped and returned back to the home.
All of them has to be put into jail NOW because they are all guilty of the killing of this innocent child.
I know about all the lying that Casey did but everyone has to remember the most important thing in life that holds true. “THE APPLE NEVER FALLS FROM THE TREE NEVER” and that is a fact.

I have to agree. George was a detective. He knows how to manipulate the system. Do I feel sorry for him in his fake attempt at suicide? NO WAY! This guy had a plan…everything this family does is premeditated. He and his wife and possibly son…figured that they would make it look like they really did not believe that their daughter/sister would commit such a horrible act. So…the planning began. George writes a LONG friggin note…laughable…and states that he does not think that his daughter committed the ultimate crime of killing her own daughter…wait…not just killed her…but BRUTALLY killed her. His plan…yep…he knew that the cell phone would ping…and they would find him…but he never took enough of any meds to die. He drank? So what? Trying to convince the public and media to feel sorry for him. His wife washed the daughters clothing? She washed away evidence. All of them hid the fact that this tramp daughter killed this child…no wonder it took so long for them to report it. They had to come up with something off the wall. Of course, if they had been this in love with their little granddaughter, they would have wanted to see her, asked about her and demanded to know where she was in a friggin MONTH. I am sure that they believed that their daughter had a real nanny…how could she afford that…and why would they not have had the woman’s phone number? In case of an emergency? Haven’t they checked the phone records to see if there was ANYONE at ANYTIME that talked to someone that could have been this nanny? No…there were none. The brother is in on this…somewhere…he could be the father of the child. This child looks like a clone of her mother…wonder why? Now…I see the last comment before mine…and looks like someone thinks that the father is also the grandfather. Well? I won’t be suprised…Remember when someone said that the grandmother grabbed the baby before the tot mom did…? Sounds really suspicious. That was a lie about it costing too much to take custody…they already had the child in their home. What is a piece of paper? All they had to do was tell their daughter to go have fun…that they would take over and be her parents…that witch would have left and never come back. Party town!
Getting back to George? Those that feel sorry for his lying attempt to fool the public and everyone else including the police…about this suicide? What a joke. Wake up people! They are desperate. Manipulators. Changing the garbage bags that they normally use? Bet they got rid of the duct tape…oh…too bad that their daughter didn’t remember about the heart sticker and tell them about getting rid of the evidence. Her fingerprints are going to show up all over that tape…bye bye nutcase. The whole family is guilty of a huge coverup. They all need to be in a mental ward.
