Caylee Anthony Trial Gets Pushed Back To Later In 2009 By The Prosecution but today, Casey Anthony, 22, was present in court wearing a professional looking jacket with her hair pulled back in a bun. Present with her, was her attorney, Jose Baez.
Assistant State Attorney, Linda Drane Burdick told the court that more time would be needed to be ready for the Caylee/Casey Anthony trial. No time was given when they would be ready but they do anticipate to will be ready later this year. That is a large window of opportunity. Perhaps, Baez needs time as well to prepare his case.
Anthony looked very different than she had at past court hearings, wearing a conservative pants suit with her hair up in a bun. Speculation is that they want to give her a new look and not be made to look like a criminal.
During the quick hearing, Judge Strickland denied the defense motion asking to remove the prosecutors from the case. However, the judge granted the defense team access to the site where Caylee’s remains were found on Dec. 11.
Baez also filed a motion to attempt to force Texas EquuSearch to turn over their records that involve the organization’s search for little Caylee. Mark NeJame, former Anthony family attorney, is now representing Texas EquuSearch and claims the motion is “vague,” “immaterial,” “critically flawed,” and “deficient.” Nejame argues that giving records to Baez and his team would violate the expectation of privacy of Equusearch’s members and would be costly for the non~profit group.
The defense team is expected to file a motion on Friday for a change of venue regarding Casey Anthony’s upcoming murder trial, for the death of her 2 year old daughter, little Caylee Anthony. The change of venue has not been filed as of late Friday afternoon.
Brad Conway, the attorney for the Anthony family, said his clients asked that the pretrial proceedings be “expeditious,” but “accurate.” That statement got a chuckle from Casey Anthony…

I really don’t care when she goes on trial because that will not bring her baby back to life and that is a fact.
Not only is Casey guilty of this horrible crime the whole entire family is guilty of not caring enough for this innocent child that had the nerve of being born.
Do I feel sorry for George absoluely NOT he is the father of Caylee that is why he quote end of quote “tried to commit suicide”. There is no such thing as trying to commit suicide either you do or you are just trying to get attention and that is all that was. He is to chicken to do that to himself and that is a fact.
What he has to do is come forward and tell the truth that he is was involved with this horrible crime right up to his neck and so is his wife.
Cindy and George knew way before when that innocent child died and they both knew where she was thrown out like garbage on the side of the road. It took supposedly thirty-one (31) days to go after this innocent child. I am telling you that is a lie they knew way before where she was.
Way before they (the entire family) wanted their daughter out of their home because they couldn’t afford supporting Casey and Caylee anymore.
The family said that Casey had run away at twelve o’clock midnight because of a big fight but if they “loved” their granddaughter so much why would they allow Casey to leave knowing she was not well mently. There was no love going on in that household at all and that is a fact.
George has to own up and tell the world the truth because Caylee is his baby and this secret is so big that is driving him crazy as this same secret is driving the entire family in many parts.
This includes the brother that knows this horrible secret. When people keep secrets such as this it will make everything fall apart eventually and that is a fact.
The entire press core are looking in the wrong direction and that is a fact.

But I feel your emotions are running wild due to the parental hormones! I would fight nail and tooth, and give my life to save any child. You Justify making your money and money for CNN by saying you are reporting the news…I disagree. You are reporting a small portion of the news, and dragging this case out day by day by day; feeding us little by little info you could feed us in a short period of time. My Point to all of this: CNN and the public should be ashamed for making the death of an innocent child a means for boosting ratings, and the public is just eating it all up!
AS THE LATE, GREAT REV MARTIN LUTHER KING STATED: (paraphrased), we need not to be concerned about WHO is killing these young men, but WHAT is killing them. WHY NOT invest our time and efforts in promoting awareness and prevention.
What about all of the other missing children in the US?? Why are we not showing them daily on your show?? The little disabled boy in FL, what about him?? I tried to find his name, I want to be involved, you are not keeping us informed.
Nancy, I have a great deal of respect for you, but I feel that your hormones are out of sync and you are constantly attacking Casey Anthony without any substance to a cause! Why not look at the possibilities, since you feel she murdered her daughter, and discuss what we can do in the future to prevent such tragedies. I am not in any way agreeing that I believe Casey is guilty of murder.
Look at the case of Andrea Yates who killed her five precious children by drowning. What have we done as a responsible media and society to raise awareness about her conditions and what to do to prevent these kinds of cases? I felt early in her case that she was not guilty of premeditated murder. Her mental incapacitation along with religious influences led her to this tragic act, and the was eventually found not guilty by reason of insanity, if I am correct. I am not implying in any way that Casey is guilty. I reserve my entire opinions at this time, although fully documented.
One last point. I said for a long time that I do not claim to be a psychic, but after the unfolding of the Anthony case, and all that came true, I consider myself as “gifted” and hope to use this one day to help find missing children.

Sure, Casey is an attractive young lady, she has her way of life, she likes to party, so what?? I have 2 daughters older than her, so that would rule out any attraction to her on my part.
I defend her because I KNOW! I defend her because she doesn’t have a fair chance at a trial; as I stated several weeks ago, before DR Phil of anyone else, Casey would have to leave this planet to get a fair trial. THE QUESTION IS WHY!!

Mr. Darrel who proposes to be a reverand could not be more off base. FYI, the court system in the US is set up to prosecute murderers and give justice to the victims. He quotes MLK, stating we should not be concerned about who is killing the people but why? Maybe the doctors can figure out why she did it later. That doesn’t change the facts. Nor does it change the courts role in this. Now you do not think CNN or Nancy Grace should report daily on this case. Why not? Was it not OK when we were looking for her everday?
How Mr. Darrel can defend a woman who doesn’t report her child missing for 30 days and then only because her mother called the police. Then leads the police on a wild goose chase astounds me. Where is his passion for loving and keeping the children safe. This man is no one that I would listen to regarding anything.
I think that the sympathizers are usually people who have done their own share of crimes and just hate the judicial system. My question is if someone like him is on the jury, what kind of justice for Caylee?
Dear Nancy H. I appreciate and welcome your comments, but there seems to be a lack of insight from the public in general. If one understands my contentions I am condemning hate, which has been used numerous times by the media, as well as feeding the upcoming jury with emotions, personal biased opinions, etc.
I want nothing more than for justice to be served for the death of little Caylee, but DUE JUSTICE! This is very significant. And NO, I would NOT serve on this jury, because like the rest of the public Casey has already been tried and sentenced by the court of public OPINION. Another key word.
The FACTS will be stated in the court of law, and Casey’s fate will be in the hands of a jury of her peers based on the evidence presented by the prosecution and the defense presented as well.
I have been a child advocate for many years and have never once sympathized with one whom I felt was guilty of intentional harm to a child.
My main contention is that continued personal attacks and scrutiny of the defendant, in this case Casey Anthony is NON Productive except for entertainment purposes. To state the facts or evidence and to consult with other professionals is fine and should be done.
Another contention is that instead of repeating things such as what Casey wore, what she eats, etc etc (IE Personal attacks) is a waste of valuable air time which could be used for the sake of helping find missing children and raising awareness of child abuse, abductions, etc.
You, CNN or anyone else can feel free to do any background checks on myself and you will find that you are terribly wrong. I have no criminal record what-so-ever, and I have actually put myself in harms way on more than one occasion to protect and intervene in child abuse, neglect and wife beatings. What have you done to prevent child abuse? I’m not being smart, just because one speaks doesn’t mean they are involved. If you are involved I would love to speak with you.
I can also provide references in law enforcement on the prosecution level, as well as child abuse investigators.
I dedicate hundreds to thousands of hours per year in raising awareness and functions regarding child abuse prevention. I will provide statistics as to what we know about the number of people wrongly convicted of crimes, it is staggering. This is on the heels of the 20th and 21ts centuries technological advances in DNA, etc.
Now, I was given the opportunity to become a Case Worker with CPS but turned down the job because my beliefs that CPS is so corrupt and lacking a legitimate systems of checks and balances, which would put me in a position to lower my standards on my convictions in doing what is right in protecting children.
If you watched Monday Nights show, you will see my points of contention may have been considered. I cannot say this for certain, but the specific items I addressed have subsequently played out. I will leave it at that at this time.
The only reason I applied the term REV in the posts you refer to is to give CNN a significant enough amount of information to investigate me if they wish. Is that a sign of a criminal?
I totally agree that this case is a very tragic and horrific crime committed against an innocent child. I want justice to be served. I just want the focus to be on the right things. And yes, I am a professional in my field.
I leave my phone number because of people who are concerned about my posts, and in every call I have received I was able to speak more freely about my contentions and derived at an agreement of central focus on my posts. Again, it is the insight of the reader which gains understanding and value.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for Nancy Grace and her cause. I just felt that with her being a new mother, and her related hormone changes this seems to drive her a little beyond that which is within reason. I am not here to challenge, but to advise, assist and most of all for the sake of our children.
I do have visions, a gift from God, and this is another thing that drives me in this particular case. I feel I know who is responsible for the death of JonBenet Ramsey as well. I have shared this with my wife. I will post it somewhere soon hopefully before a suspect is named. But I can say from my vibes is that it was someone very close to the family, and I can put my finger on him.

PS, My wife and I have raised three wonderful children, my wife and I have been married for almost 30 years, we have three three precious grand kids and one on the way. We are a very close-knit family and I know any of my kids will tell you that I never, ever abused them in any way. My wife would verify that I never once hit her or abused her in any way.
I will also go to another site and post a sealed blog giving the details of this case, who is responsible, how little Caylee was killed and why. I posted most of this when the case was first made public, before anyone was accused of murder, and even before little Caylee’s remains were found. I told my wife in the very beginning that this child was no longer with us months ago.
There are certain details I cannot discuss publicly because of legalities.
I will also blog and seal the killer of JonBenet Ramsey and what happened to her, which the evidence will conclude as well. I don’t claim to be a psychic, I give God the credit for this gift.
The day before little Caylee’s remains were found, I sent an email stating that I had a vision of Casey coming out of a wooded area, and then little Caylee coming out of the same wooded area from a different trail, but converging at the opening. I have evidence of of my claims.

Casey did this to herself. If she had told the truth from the very beginning, (IN JUNE) this case would not have reached the media like it did. It was her lies and straight face that got her in this spot. She never called the police to say her baby was missing, her mother did that about a month later. She lied about where she dropped off Caylee. Once at Zenida’s apartment then she said it was at Blanchard Park. She said she worked at Universal, not true. Why in the heck would she need a nanny if she did not work? Yes, she kept this going, if only she had told the truth right up front. The body would have been found in July and this little beautiful baby would have been buried already. NO I do not agree with you at all. The media just covers what is going on, they don’t make up lies, they call it what it is.
I do not hate Casey, I just think she needs some kind of help. Her head is sick. The Susan Smith and the Yate incidents didn’t last this long in the media because the mothers admitted to what they did. She has not. She cannot face reality. I do not listen to some of the things that are said, who cares what she is wearing or what her hair looks like, or even if she is smiling or crying, what matters is that a beautiful little girl died in the hands of someone else. Justice has to be made for that. It is my opinion if Casey would admit what she did and prays to God then she will be forgiven by God and maybe someday she will be forgiven by us humans!
I have been watching this case since I got to Florida………I have never seen or heard such b.s. from this Casey Anthony (baby killer) than I have heard in my 70 yrs on this earth. Why is Baez talking like for sure the trial will be moved from Orlando. The judge said that it would be discussed at a further date. The judge even said it may not have to be moved considering, we do not know what will happen. Baez is a horrible person. I can see why George, Cindy and Lee wanted Casey to get rid of him. He is such a sleeze! He says she is innocent remember he also said Caylee would be found alive. My opinion he is a horrible person and the judge should demand a different lawyer for KC. Not because he says she innocent, of course he would say that he is a defense attorney, but he is only working for himself, which maybe then Casey deserves him too. Why are all the lawyers upset with Zeniada and her lawyer. Something is going on there…
I agree that I was wrong attacking Nancy Grace. She and CNN is the reason that this case remained alive.
My point I suppose was that there seemed to be so much repetition each show was sounding like a broken record. As as far as posting here, we each have our own opinions, and that’s why they allow different views to be posted as apposed to other sites.
I can say with conviction that I want justice for little Caylee, but we must keep in mind that little Caylee is gone, and all of the hate and anger will not bring her back.
My mission is to learn from this case and as many as possible, as I study many cases and try to understand why people do things to hurt or kill little children. By doing this we can help prevent more similar cases.
