A convicted sex offender, Joseph Edward Duncan III, who was sentenced to death for killing a 9 year old Idaho boy is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, on charges related to another killing of a 10 year old California boy. Duncan will answer charges for the 1997 abduction and murder of little Anthony Martinez.
Duncan is expected to appear in court in Riverside County, California, to answer to charges in the 1997 abduction and murder of Anthony Martinez, said a spokesman for the Riverside County District Attorney’s office. River
Investigators have charged Duncan with murder little Anthony’s death. They are also investigating to see whether Duncan, who committed his first sexual offense at the age of 12, can be tied to other crimes. They know he is a serial killer and sex offender.
Little Anthony was kidnapped on April 4 in 1997 from an alley near his home in the city of Beaumont, California. Anthonys’ naked body was discovered a little over two weeks after he was abducted.
Duncan has already confessed to killing little Anthony. He crushed Anthony’s head with a rock,
Authorities reportedly discovered the boy’s body by following vultures to a remote section of a nearby canyon. The body was partially buried under a pile of rocks and bound with duct tape, according to KTLA.
Duncan falls in the category of being a high school dropout and a drifter. He was sentenced to death last August, for the combined torture and murder of little Dylan Groene, a 9 year old Idaho boy.
He has been convicted of kidnapping Dylan and his then 8 year old sister, before torturing them at a remote campsite and fatally bludgeoning members of their family.
In 2007, Duncan pleaded guilty to murder and kidnapping counts in state court for the hammer-attack murders of three other Groene family members.
If convicted of murdering Martinez, Duncan can be sentenced to death again.

Just by looking at him you can see that he is a child. He has no idea what he has done but people like that need to be put to death because he will do it again and again.
I always say and I will continue to say that all of this comes from the hate of his mother. Something happened to him when he was very small and it continued all of his life non-stop.
I know what I am speaking about but it had nothing to do with my mother or father it had to do with the fact that I was raped by my brother-in-law for nine (9) years nonstop and I grew to hate and I lost my family many good jobs a husband and many other things.
He took out his rage on innocent children because of what happened to him it is sad because if he had a normal life he would have been so different.
More than likely he was born from hate and he grew the hate grew and that is all he knew all of his life hate so he took out on everyone around him and that is a fact. He needed a lot of help all of his life and never got it.
