This scumbag, who authorities say defrauded investors and then tried to fake his own death by deliberately crashing his plane in the Florida Panhandle pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of intentionally destroying an aircraft and faking a distress call.

Marcus Schrenker’s, 38, legal counsel says there is “reasonable cause” to believe the pilot may have a mental disorder.

I say there is “reasonable cause” to believe the pilot may have planed his defense before this caper even started…just like the stashed motorcycle and ever other lie he has hatched up since he began stealing other peoples money and using illegal practices to gain more money from his trusting, unsuspecting clients and using the system to his own gain.

Crazy??? Oh, he is crazy alright…Crazy Like A Fox!

Jerry Marbut, who is a courtroom deputy for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, said Marcus Schrenker, had pleaded not guilty and that his trail is set for April 13Th, 2009. Too bad that isn’t going to be Friday the 13Th.

In court papers filed with a Florida federal judge Wednesday, Schrenker’s public defender, Thomas Keith, said he spoke with his client for the first time this week and there is a “bona-fide” doubt regarding Schrenker’s mental competency.

These people really crack me up…bona-fide doubt…my big butt…I bet those people who have been betrayed by him don’t think he is bona-fide unable to stand trail. He sits his conniving butt in a mental ward writing a book while his clients have lost their life savings. Where is the justice?

Keith did not say what he and Schrenker talked about when they met Tuesday, but that there was “reasonable cause” to believe Schrenker may be suffering from a mental disorder that renders him mentally incompetent to be tried.

This Baby Boomer says HOG WASH. This is one smart cookie and you can bet he is telling his “public defender,” what to say and how the case is going to go down.
This whole ruse was orchestrated by Schrenker and you can just bet that he has several avenues of escape.

Mean while he will be sitting in a federal prison or federal mental ward, while his clients are going to be eating crackers and water from his actions. OK, so maybe that is an exaggeration, but you get my drift.

If I was his wife I would be putting everything he has on the market, planes, houses, businesses and starting to collect money to pay back these people he has taken monies from. How else is she going to show her children what is right and wrong and how to be a good person, not a thief and impostor? I guess we will have to wait to see what type of person Mrs. Schrenker is, in regards to what her husband has done.

Then I would not give him one red cent to defend his no-good butt since he has put the children in the middle of this. I would take the children and continue on with life and try to show them what it is like to be a good person not a scumbag…since you can’t say things like that to your children about their father.
