Karma caught up with former Culture Club singer Boy George on Friday when a court sentenced the star to 15 months for falsely imprisoning a male escort, a court spokeswoman said.

A jury of his peers, unanimously found the pop star and DJ, Boy George, guilty of the charge last month after a seven-day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court in northeast London. Full details of the sentence aren’t immediately clear.
What did Boy George do? The jury determined that he chained a male escort, Audun Carlsen to a wall at his apartment in London’s hip Shoreditch neighborhood. Carlsen had also said the singer beat him with a metal chain. Sounds totally BDSM to me…
Boy George maintains his innocence, came to court Friday sporting a multicolored tattoo on his bald head, none of his trademark makeup, and a black winter coat.
Not quite the Boy George that I remember, how about you Baby Boomers? Is this the same guy who was in Culture Club in 1987? Whose songs included “Karma Chameleon,” “Do you really want to hurt me?” and “Church of the Poison Mind”???
What else is Boy George up too? Besides chaining boys beating them with chains, he has since become a DJ and revived his singing career, releasing a single last year called “Yes we can,” inspired by Barack Obama and featuring clips of the U.S. president-elect.
Those here in the U.S. know that Boy George is no stranger to the law. In August of 2006, he spent five days cleaning the streets of Manhattan as part of a community service sentence for falsely reporting a break in at his New York City home.
He has also publicly battled drug addiction. I guess that was part of the Culture Club.

This man is truely sick and he has been this way all of his life but this is way over the top.
I don’t think that 15 months is long enough because he will do it again when he gets out because he still doesn’t think he did anything wrong and that is a fact.
I just hope that man he did it to will recover back to where he was before this happened to him.
