Investor Crashes His Plane Fakes His Death Then Runs Away-Judge Freezes Assests

Marcus Schrenker, an Investor Crashes His Plane, Fakes His Death Then Runs Away Into The Alabama Night but not before a Judge Freezes Assests. Sounds like a new movie, but it is real life. Investigators are looking for Marcus Schrenker, a suburban Indianapolis financial manager, who parachuted from his small plane, in Alabama, before it crashed, in Florida.
Investigators are also looking for possible securities violations and in the mean while, an Indiana Judge as frozen all of his assets. Those assets also include holdings of his wife, Michelle Schrenker who filed for divorce in Hamilton Superior Court on December 30. That hearing is set for February 5, 2009. Also, his three companies, Heritage Wealth Management, Heritage Insurance Services and Icon Wealth Management are “the subjects of an active investigation by the Indiana Securities Division,” authorities say. Do you smell trouble or what…?
Authorities revealed that a search warrant related to the inquiry was served December 31, 2008.
Schrenker, 38, took off all alone Sunday night in his corporate plane, a Piper PA-46, from Anderson, Indiana, with a filed direct, straight, flight plan to Destin, Florida. But ditched the plane as it flew over Alabama, with the plane placed on auto-pilot and it finally crashing in a swampy area, in the Florida panhandle. The Piper PA-46 (that was on automatic pilot) crashed near the Blackwater River, only 50 to 75 yards from homes, said Sgt. Scott Haines of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Florida has been having wet and windy weather which probably hampered the plane from crashing into the ocean as Schrenker had probably planned. He didn’t factor in the weather.
“It is a neighborhood with some very nice waterfront property,” said Haines.
Military aircraft from Whiting Field, which were dispatched to intercept the plane after Schrenker reported an emergency, witnessed the crash about 9:15 p.m. CT. The crews fired flares and noticed the plane’s door was open and the cockpit was dark, Haines said in a news release. They got no response.
Haines said the plane appeared to have been put on autopilot at around 2,000 feet, over the Birmingham, Alabama, area, before the pilot parachuted to the ground. Schrenker had contacted air traffic controllers, saying that the windshield imploded.
“The pilot stated that he was bleeding profusely,” the news release said. “Radio contact with the plane was not able to be established after that point. When deputies located the plane at the crash site, no blood was present and the door to the plane was open.”
The plot thickens as the Childersburg, Alabama, Police Department reported that Schrenker approached one of its officers shortly before 2:30 a.m., “and said that he had been in a canoeing accident with some friends,” a news release said. Childersburg is about 35 miles southeast of Birmingham. HA…Who canoes at 2:30 at night??? He must be a pretty convincing liar. to fool the police.

Childersburg officers, unaware of the plane crash, took Schrenker to a hotel in nearby Harpersville. After hearing about the crash, the Childersburg officers went back to the hotel, where they found that Schrenker had checked into the hotel under a fictitious name. However, “When authorities entered Schrenker’s room, he was not there,” the release said.
Authorities said Schrenker checked in under a fake name, put on a black cap and fled into a wooded area. He had better watch out for those alligators and moccasin snakes, what he had faked, might come true.
Hotel manager Yogi Patel, who identified Schrenker on surveillance video. Patel told CNN that Schrenker was the only guest overnight. He signed in as Jason Galouzs of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Patel said.
A hotel employee said Schrenker went up to his room, but didn’t enter before leaving the building.
Cnn Reortes have talked to Steve Darlington, the manager of Anderson Municipal Airport, where Schrenker took off in his Pipper. He told CNN the plane was in fine condition at takeoff, and said Schrenker is “an accomplished pilot” who owns “a couple of airplanes” and flies regularly.
“The FBI is looking into the matter, along with other agencies,” said Paul Draymond, of the Birmingham FBI office.
Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration, said several factors indicated the pilot likely left the plane before the crash: a “detailed review of radar data,” the fact that the plane was switched to autopilot before it crashed, the sighting by military jet crews and the fact that the cockpit was found mostly intact with no one inside.
After the pilot alerted air traffic controllers about the alleged problems with his plane, authorities tried to persuade him to land in Pell City, Alabama, east of Birmingham, Haines said.
It seems that Schrenker has broken the laws with possible securities violations, endangered the lives of a small Florida community, while leaving his investors, wife and children high and dry. Authorities have asked that people keep a look out for him and report his where-abouts to local authorities or the FBI. Think of all of the people who have been affected by this rouse…

I love the way these rich thieves try to run away and when they can’t they try to kill themselves. They maybe falsey rich but they are “chicken” as well.
I hope the full arm of the law comes down on this “chicken little” as hard as it can and as soon as it can. NOW would be an excellent time.
