Jett Travolta Was Given A Scientologist Funeral-Memorial Service
Jett Travolta was given a Scientologist Funeral-Memorial Service and friends and relatives of John Travolta, his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu gathered Thursday at their central Florida home for a memorial service to honor the life of the couple’s 16-year-old son and brother, Jett Travolta, who died during a seizure, at the family vacation home in Grand Bahama, last week.
The couple lives in a sprawling $8 million home in a luxury subdivision called Jumbolair Aviation Estates, with its own airstrip, outside of Ocala, Florida.
Ocala people pretty much gave the Travolta’s their peace and space, There were some curious onlookers, who slowed as they drove by or those who dropped off flowers for Jett and the Travolta’s.
Other than the steady stream of catering trucks and florists that entered the complex on Thursday, there were only a dozen or so photographers and reporters out side the security gates.
The service for Jett Travolta was to adhere to the tenets of the Travolta’s faith, Scientology, which will celebrate the teenager’s life.
Tommy Davis, spokesman for the Church of Scientology International in Los Angeles, said “Scientologist funerals or memorial services are more like a celebration of their life, an acknowledgment of their life, and it’s a way to wish them well in their future life. Scientologists believe that a person is an immortal spiritual being, and one’s spirit is reborn in another human body. The word reincarnation is a term often used loosely. We call it ‘past lives’ in the sense that one is living lifetime after lifetime,” stated Davis.
The Travolta’s have only spoken publicly once, on Sunday, since their son died. “We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives.”
Jett Travolta was given a Scientologist Funeral-Memorial Service and perhaps now it is the first step of their new journey, for the Travolta family.

I am so glad for them that Jett has been laid to rest now they have to go through the toughest time in thier lives it can never ever be understood but they have to put this in God’s hand and they will be able to go through it.
As I said earlier the only way I got over the death of my Mother was and I heard this on TV a very long time ago. When you say a person has died that sounds so final.
I heard this and it really really helped me and still does. Jett is now on “the other side of the curtain” and all they have to do is lift the curtain and see him and speak to him at anytime they want to and it doesn’t seem so final. When I heard that it really helped me so very much I only hope they see this and maybe this will help them as well.
