Jett Travolta Remains and The Travolta Family Have Returned Home to Ocala Florida

Jett Travolta remains and the Travolta Family have returned home to Ocala Florida. Actor John Travolta, wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu, have returned to Florida with the remains of their 16 year old son, Jett Travolta, who died in the Grand Bahamas, while on vacation.

The Coroners Office released Jets body after the autopsy was ruled, death by seizure, on Monday. Jetts body was then sent to the funeral home where it was cremated and made ready to return home. The couple received an urn with his ashes and left the island chain on Monday night.

Jett Travolta, age 16, had a history of seizures and had suffered since a child from a rare disease called Kawasaki Syndrome. Kawasaki Syndrome, is an illness that leads to inflamed blood vessels. He was found unconscious Friday in a bathroom by one of his Nanny’s.

The body was in “great condition,” said Glen Campbell, assistant director of the Bahamas funeral home that handled Jett’s remains, though police officials had said the teen hit his head on a bathtub.

Funeral plans have not been announced as the Travolta family are very private.

In Ocala, Mayor Randy Ewers said the city sent the Travolta family condolences and will give them space and privacy.

“They’re fantastic people, really family oriented,” Ewers said. “We want to respect their privacy as much as possible.”

In a public statement Sunday, Travolta, 54, and Preston, 46, said they were “heartbroken that our time with him was so brief.” They also thanks the public for their thoughts and prayers.

Travolta gave Jett CPR to revive his son until the emergency medical technician team took over. It is believed that perhaps Jett may have died in his arms before an emergency medical technician took over. For more information got to CNN News.

Jett Travolta remains and the Travolta Family return home to Ocala Florida, Monday night. Their runway is right over my home. This time, I did not hear their jet come in, as it brought Jett home to his final resting place. Once again, BBAC condolences go out to the Travolta’s and their family and friends…for a son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend that will not be forgotten.

First, my sincere condolences to the Travolta family, I can’t imagine the heartbreak of losing a child.

I am a bit confused as to why they keep referring to Kawaski Syndrome. He had that as a very young child, it’s a disorder children can have 5 yrs. old and under and at 16 yrs. old he has long been over that condition. The only condition it can cause that would last longer would be a heart condition, which I’ve never heard mention was the case with Jett Travolta. It appeared that Jett was a special needs child/teen, and seemed from an outsiders view that he possibly suffered from Autism, which I understand the family has always denied and said he had Kawaski Syndrome, only problem is Kawaski Syndrome isn’t anything like Autism and is something that doesn’t affect one after the age of 5 yrs. old.

So is it because of their Scientology beliefs that they have always refused to admit he had Autism disorder, or whatever disorder he apparently had?? Were they in denial or did their religous beliefs convince them it did not exist? I know Tom Cruise is into Scientolgy and have heard him speak on other health issues which he denies that exist, like post-partum disorder along with other health issues. It seems their religon keeps them from accepting certain health issues even exist. It also makes me think Scientolgy could cause parents to not properly treat their children with certain disorders because “the scientology church” has brain-washed them into denying that particular health disorder even exist. I have no doubt the Travolta’s took care of their child in the sense they convinced themselves Jett had a different disorder, but I do believe their religious beliefs could have hindered the correct treatment of his actual condition.

I also don’t understand how this entire incident happened. They had 2 men employed as caretakers for their son. I read where one of them had “gone out” and not came back until 11:00. If I was paying 2 caretakers to take care of my child/teen with special needs, I would expect that child to not be left alone for a minute. I guess we will never know, but it is possible if the caretakers were doing “their job” when he had a seizure, 911 could have been called immediately instead, he was found the next morning. I mean, what were they being paid for, wasn’t it to be taking care of the teen? With two caretakers, the child/teen shouldn’t have been left alone for a minute. How could it be hours/overnight since they last saw him. With 2 of them, one should be there during the day and one during the night. Something just don’t jive about the entire ordeal. I certainly hope those 2 caretakers are investigated and held responsible for what appears to be a derilation of duty.

I am heartbroken for the Travolta family. I can not even begin to imagine the pain that must be over taking their lives right now. Reguardless of the reason that their dear child has left this earth, it is evident that they were loving parents. People will speculate all day that Jett had this or Jett had that wrong with him. In the big picture of things, only John and Kelly know what was or wasnt wrong with their son. I also believe that John and Kelly are good parents and unfortunately beacause of their celebrity status their religious beliefs, medical treatments, and parenting skills will be picked apart. I just want to say that I am sorry for their loss. Nothing else matters right now, they have lost the love of their life. I have 3 children and I can not imagine what I would do if something were to happen to one of them. The Travoltas are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that whatever their faith is, they are able to find comfort in that and their family and friends. God Bless the Travolta Family.

The fact that John Travolta and his wife are public figures does not entitle the public or the press to any information about the death of their son.Why don’t you all just leave these people alone so they can grieve for their loss!I have seen headline after headline about this.Mandy, you need to stay confused! It’s none of your business why or how this kid died. You speak as if you’re some kind of authority. These people don’t owe you or anyone else, especially the press,an explanation.

  4. Carol says:

Now he will rest in peace and the life on the other side of curtain is far happier than here on earth. He will be completely healthy and never have to worry about anything he will look down on his parents and smile and they in return will look up and smile back to him and that is the way it has to be for them to feel and have complete happiness.

They have to look as though he has gone “To The Otherside of The Curtain” so all they have to do is lift the curtain and see him and watch him smile and speak to him like did before. This really helped me when my mother left I just lift the curtain and see her and speak to her whenever I want to.
