FDA Approves Eyelash Thickening Drug. Why? Because Thick Eyelashes Are a Top Health Priority in America? I don’t think so…do you?

How many people do you know who suffer from this HORRIBLE, devastating disease? Yet, the FDA has just approved a new drug, a new cure for thickening your eyelashes. FDA even claims that it treats a “disease.” What do you think this disorder is called? Maybe it is called “Thin Eyelashes Disorder?” Guess again…as usual they have come up with a highly technical sounding term for it: Hypotrichosis.

(pic) These are just regular false eyelashes.

In Latin, it breaks down to means, “Thin Eyelashes Disorder.”
“Hypo” means sub par or under performing.
“Tricho” means hair.
“sis” means a disease or disorder.

And thus, “hypotrichosis” just means thin eyelashes disorder. Just because they use Latin, doesn’t mean it is a real disease but it sounds really medicalized, does it not?

Perhaps, if they use Latin the unsuspecting general public will think it must be a real disease.

This new wonder drug is called “Latisse” and is made by the same wonderful medical geniuses of Allergan. Allergan brought Botox to the public. Which is a drug made from deadly bacteria that is injected into the vain. Injected into the skin to paralyze the muscles into a state of wrinkle free numbness. This is the best application of modern medical technology and medicine, they can come with??? Toxic bacteria? Shoot, the America didn’t have to worry about the cold war… American’s where walking  to Botox with open arms and that is toxic bacteria.

The FDA approves of it? Sounds like to me that the FDA and the Pharmaceutical Companies are bed partners and yet it is the American Public that is getting screwed.

It is certainly good to see that the FDA has its priorities lined up.
Here are their ducks in a row…
There are drugs that stop wrinkles
Drugs that reverse baldness
Drugs that produce six hour erections for men
Do I see a new drug for bad breath, around the corner?
But wait…now we have a new drug to add to the list of modern technology…
A new drug that treats that hideous, life threatening, thin eyelashes disorder.

I can see where that would be a priority over cancer
Heart disease
Leukemia
Breast cancer
Diabetes
MS
Colon cancer
Kidney disease
HIV or aides
Alzheimer’s
Lupus
Plus many other diseases that kill millions every year.

Apparently, any biological feature or function is about vanity, gets top priority with FDA and Pharmaceutical companies. It seems that matters on a date, gets top priority at the FDA.

If Americans had to date each other with thin eyelashes, bald heads, wrinkled faces and flaccid penises, nobody would ever appropriate and then who, would the pharmaceutical companies sell their next generation of drugs to? Yeah, that’s the ticket…that is what it is all about. Silly me…and here I wanted to get cured from Lupus and instead I get to die with beautiful eyelashes.

Welcome to the wonderful world of chemically changed and enhanced dating. Where you will never really sure if the person you’re dating is really who they seem to be, or just a another pharmaceutical-ized augmentation of the next chemical cosmetic secret. Good luck America.

Wait a minute…you haven’t asked me what the side affects are.

Allergan notes that Latisse may cause darkening of the eyelid skin, which may be reversible, and it “may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye, which is likely to be permanent.”

Latisse may also promote hair growth in other skin areas that it frequently touches, so Allergan recommends blotting it off any skin other than the upper eyelid’s lash line to prevent that side effect.

According to Allergan, Latisse was well tolerated in its clinical trials, with the most common side effects being eye redness, itchy eyes, and skin hyperpigmentation.

So America, FDA Approves an Eyelash Thickening Drug. Therefore, Thick Eyelashes Must Be A Top Medical Priority In America…

  1. Excellent…lets focus on skinny eyelashes…An important factor in our daily living..more important that our skinny economy and all the ravages of diseases..as you mentioned. Watch people pay more than they do for their weekly groceries.

    Good post.

I believe I read something, just this week, that Latisse is leading to additional problems/side effects.

I do not have a problem with people wanting, or trying, to be attractive. I really dislike the message that everyone needs to be so perfectly beautiful.

    Natural beauty IS beautiful.
