Santa Gunman Body Count Is 9-At The Christmas Massacre Shooting

Santa Gunman Body Count is 9, at the worst ever Christmas Massacre Shooting in Los Angles, California. But, death wasn’t enough for Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, he then set the house afire after his shooting rampage, dressed as Santa Claus.

The new information is that even after his death, Thursday night, Pardo had rigged a pipe bomb to explode the rental car he had been driving, to explode out side his home. It was booby trapped.A police bomb squad was attempting to render safe, a suspicious device in the rental car when it erupted in flames. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The incident prompted police to evacuate houses near Pardo’s Montrose, California, home out of concern he may have left bombs there. The street was reopened late Thursday after bomb squads cleared the house.

I still have one concern though, where is the man who normally plays Santa? It would not surprise me if Pardo had not planned his demise as well, to be able to get entry into the Christmas Eve Party, to sow his seeds of cowardly destruction.

Investigators have yet to identify the charred bodies recovered from the burned house, that belonged to his ex-in-laws. Authorities still have not been able to account for Pardo’s ex-mother-in-law, ex-father-in-law and ex-wife.

Police said about 25 people attended the holiday party. The Santa gunman, dressed in a full Santa Claus outfit, came in the front door and then moved through the house, firing two semiautomatic handguns and using an apparently homemade pressurized device to spread an accelerant.

The Santa Gunman first victim was an 8 year old girl who ran to the door, expecting Santa, after hearing a knock. Pardo shot her point blank in the face but she has survived.

“She has a very, very severe injury to her face. It’s not life-threatening, but she’s got a very tough road ahead of her,” Lt. Pat Buchanan of the Covina Police Department said at a news conference Thursday.

People at the party hide behind furniture, ran upstairs, then started throwing furniture out windows to escape, jumping out of windows on both floors of the house. All trying to escape the gunfire and flames of Pardo.

Police have not yet released the identities of the victims.

In addition to the nine people killed, police said three people were injured, including the 8-year-old girl. A 16-year-old girl was wounded by gunfire and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said, and a woman who jumped out of a second-floor window suffered a broken leg and was hospitalized.

Police report that Pardo’s body was discovered about 30 miles from the shooting scene at his brother’s house in the Los Angeles suburb of Sylmar, he was dead from “self inflicted gun shot wound.” Relatives returning to the house found Pardo’s body. What a horrible thing to come home to. He was a coward…

LT. Pat Buchanan of the Corvina Police Department, said people who were able to flee the building reported that once the gunman was in the house, “he fired multiple rounds into the people attending the party and multiple people were struck.” Then, as uninjured people were trying to escape, Buchanan said “that’s when The Santa Gunman lit the accelerant in some manner. He then fled the scene, minus the Santa out fit.”

Buchanan said the device that spread accelerant was “nothing that we or the arson-explosives unit has ever seen before. It appears to be homemade.” I was believed to have been like a flame thrower.

So, the Santa Gunman Body Count Is 9-At The Christmas Massacre Shooting and 10 if you count Pardo. I can not imagine the lives he has inflicted pain upon. Even his own brother and family.
