Gunman Dressed as Santa Goes on Christmas Killing Spree-UPDATED Info Release…
Late breaking information about the Gunman Dressed as Santa Goes on Christmas Killing Spree-has hit the Internet. It is now reported that Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, Dressed as Santa, walked up to his ex-in-law’s home in Covina, California, on Christmas Eve and knocked on the door.
An 8 year old girl who was elated to see Santa Claus, ran toward the door to see him. Pardo immediately lifted a gun and shot her in the face. Do you believe he is a coward yet, Baby Boomers?
Pardo, 45, with a gun in one hand and a wrapped Christmas present in the other, suddenly began shooting indiscriminately, having shot the little 8 year old girl first, he then completely sprays the living room with bullets.
At the time there were 25 friends and family members celebrating the annual Christmas Eve Party. People ran, hid under furniture, broke windows trying to escape and one woman even
jumped from the second level of the home, to escape his rampage.
There were good neighbors who having heard gunfire and called 911 shortly before 11:30 p.m. Police arrived within three minutes of the call, to find the home already engulfed in flames.
Pardo endangered the whole community torching the house to hide his despicable conduct. It took almost two hours for the brave Covina firefighters to extinguish the fire and keep other homes from igniting.
Police report the even before it was safe to search the home, they saw three dead bodies in the home. A later search found three more bodies. Police report the death toll is now 8, with three in the hospital and the police can not find Pardo’s ex-mother-in-law, ex-father-in-law and ex-wife, whom he divorced, last week, after a year of marriage. It is assumed that the three dead are the missing ex-family members.
The 8-year-old girl, whose injuries indicate the bullet went straight through her face, is recovering at a hospital in Los Angeles, a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound in the thigh, and the woman who jumped out the window, were still being treated at the hospital.
Police believe after Pardo stopped shooting, he took out his wrapped gift, which was actually a home-made device used to spread fire, and used it to set the house ablaze. Covina Police Department Lt. Pat Buchanan said “the device was something we have never seen before.” Covina Police Chief Kim Raney said, “it as a pressurized tank attached to another tank filled with accelerant.”
After Pardo set fire to the home, he changed out of his Santa outfit into plain clothes, went to another relatives home in the nearby Sylmar area and committed suicide. How he committed suicide is not yet been released.
Authorities have positively identified Pardo’s body, but the victims of Pardo are not so lucky as authorities have not released the identities of any of the victims. Their bodies were “severely burned and charred,” making it necessary to use dental and medical records and X-rays to establish identities. Pardo must have made sure they were ignited. The fire was so intense that it caused the top floor of the two story house to collapse onto the first floor. The fire department should be commended for keeping this fire from spreading through out the community. Amongst the bodies, several weapons were also found in the burned house.
Pardo’s ex-in-laws always have an annual party Christmas Eve and one neighbor always visits dressed as Santa. This year, that neighbor was away and the Santa from Hell came instead.
Police have suggested that marital problems were the possible motive for the attack and said they believe Pardo and his wife of one year finally settled a contentious divorce last week.
The Gunman Dressed as Santa has recked havoc at what should be a joyous time of year. How could anyone in their right mind, shot an 8 year old girl point blank in the face? Pardo was lost before the first shot was ever fired.
