Congressman-Pilot Followed Procedure In Deadly Crash
BBAC UPDATE:Duncan Hunter,Republican Congressman, has verified that the pilot followed procedure in deadly crash that veered into two houses, where 4 citizens lost their lives. The pilot was wrestling with an aircraft, whose two engines had failed, before he parachuted to the ground…pilot followed procedure.
“The Marines’ investigation is in its preliminary stages, but it is apparent that the pilot operating the aircraft followed procedure before ejecting,” Hunter said Thursday after he was briefed on the investigation into Monday’s fatal crash.

Hunter also released in a statement that, “Double engine failure in the F/A-18D is an extremely rare occurrence, and the pilot made every effort to bring the aircraft under control.” Bottom line, the pilot followed procedure.
So, Congressman Hunters theory is that the F/A-18D pilot followed procedure in the deadly crash that happened in a heavy populated area in San Diego. Duncan Hunter is the top ranking Republican on the House Armed Services Committee.
