A Child’s Skull Found Near Caylee Anthony’s Home in Orlando, Florida, have the police and forensics working 24/7 in the cold and rain to determine if it is little Caylee Anthony’s skull and possible remains.
Only hours after the gruesome find, Caylee Anthony’s grandparents house is off limits as police seek to obtain warrants on Thursday, December 11Th, 2008.hours after the remains of a small child were found nearby.
There is a large poster of Caylee outside the house of George and Cindy Anthony, which is now covered in crime scene tape. Investigators have issued a statement saying that they have secured the house “pending more investigation.” The house has the “possibility of being more of a crime scene later.”

For those of you who have not been following this case, of 3 year old, little Caylee Anthony’s disappearance, Caylee has not been seen or is missing since June. Casey Anthony, the child’s 22 year old mother, was charged last month ( November 2008) with murder even though there was no body and other offenses, since she has told untruths through most of the investigation. She is at this time being held at the Orange County Jail, in Orlando Florida.
The area where the remains were found, by the meter reader, had all ready been searched as part of the investigation into Caylee’s disappearance. BUT…the exact spot where a county meter reader found the bag with the head (and probably the rest of the body, police are tight lipped right now) was 45 to 60 feet back from the street. At the time of the first search, that area was completely flooded when searched and was not accessible.
There is word out that no clothes were found with child’s skull found near Caylee Anthony’s home. There are no other children in Orlando, Florida that are currently missing.
Earlier today, 9th Circuit Judge Stan Strickland postponed Casey Anthony’s trial. The defense attorney Jose Baez, for Casey Anthony, said he was not ready for trial and he was trying to get a change of venue. The trial was originally set for January 5Th, 2009. Baez has requested a trial for March, Judge Strickland will decide on the case January 15, 2009.
The death penalty will not be sought against Casey Anthony, if convicted of murder. But, she could be sentenced to life in prison. However, this was before the Prosecutors have seen how little Caylee’s body was just trashed by the wayside, naked. We will see what forensics say and how they react to the findings.
The case against Casey Anthony mounts. Casey Anthony waited about a month before telling her family that Caylee was gone. Cindy Anthony, Casey’s Mother, called the Orange County sheriff’s office July 15, 2008, telling authorities that her daughter would not tell her where Caylee was.
When questioned by authorities, Casey Anthony gave conflicting statements to police, including some that were later disproved, according to hundreds of documents and investigative reports now being released in the case.
She first claimed that she dropped Caylee off with a baby sitter, but when police checked out her story, they learned that the address Casey Anthony supplied belonged to an apartment that had been vacant for weeks. Then the woman Casey Anthony named as Caylee’s babysitter, told police she did not know Casey Anthony.
Here is the clincher, investigators had cadaver dogs sniff out Casey’s car and her parents back yard and both places they picked up the scent of death.
CNN News reports that air quality tests conducted by the FBI found evidence consistent with human decomposition and chloroform in the car’s trunk. A neighbor has testified that Ms. Anthony had asked to borrow a shovel, in the same time frame.
Information has been released that Casey’s computer showed that she had visited Web sites discussing chloroform and had done Internet searches on missing children.
My question is, “How can or could any Mother know her child is out there, all alone, dead, naked, rotting in a swamp, for animals to dig up or devourer and be able to go about your life and party the way that Casey Anthony has done?” If guilty, how could she do that to her own baby? Look at this little angels face…
Investigators feel that it was an accident, and she’s scared and tried to cover it up. They don’t feel there was a motive in the Caylee’s death and they are not seeking the death penalty.
The state of Florida does have a death penalty for murder. If it was Caylee’s child’s skull found near Caylee Anthony’s home…why wasn’t it murder, when chloroform was involved? I guess none of us but the murderer will know for a while.

I don’t care how sick or scared this woman was: If she killed Caylee either by accident or on purpose and has been jerking everyone around about the death of her daughter, she should be eligible for the death penalty. I hope this poor child can find peace in her death. It surely seems she has made alot of noise from beyond the grave to keep the media and public working on this case. Caylee RIP!
I think the difference between an accident and a murder would have been a 911 call on June 16. Even after 31 days I could have given Casey the benefit of some doubt- even after doing all the wrong things after an accident. Her parents after all picked up their missing daughters car stinking of death, with her purse and wallet in the front seat and granddaughters favorite doll in the back and drove it home rather than call 911 right then and there. When Cindy finally did call the police, she lied to the dispatcher about a stolen car. It’s not like Casey was raised in an environment of truth or where a lot of critical thinking was expected.
Problem was, she never came clean. She rejected plea deals and implicated innocents she’s now proceeding to counter sue. She partied like an airhead baking brownies promising that her daughter would be home. She was ‘arrested on a f*cking whim’ is reason enough she should get the DP at this stage IMHO.
If this is little Caylee (which we all know it is) Casey did it, does she deserve a trial? ,no way! She should just come right out NOW and tell what she did. This is really getting sick, Bias is her attorney and though she has rights, she got rid of her daughter because she did not want her anymore and she did not want her mother to have her either, plus she wanted to party and sleep with whoever. She did this out of spite and meanness. She hurt all the people that loved her. She does deserve the dealth penalty, though rotting in jail would be a slow dealth. How can any mother have pretended all these months when she knew what she did, where she left her. She could eat, laugh, and enjoy life, even though she took her own daughter life. This is so horrible. As far as George and Cindy, Casey can’t stand you,(even though now she will pretend she can, because she feels so guilty and has nobody else) and she took your granddaughter away from you. She is sick, don’t follow in her footsteps. You cannot save your grandbaby anymore, she is gone, but you can make peace with Caylee from the heart. I still can’t believe it, she killed her own daughter and just threw her away, just like that…
Your right Caylee did speak from the grave so say. She wants her mother punished and she should be. Poisoning your child is NOT AN ACCIDENT and why do these people even suggest that it is? If you poison your child and the child dies its MURDER flat out and simple, what’s wrong with these lawyers??? A baby is dead her mother did it, she planned to poison her and did and now she’s dead she knew it could kill her she read it on the Internet. This woman is sick, cruel and heartless. Merry Christmas Caylee your mom is getting what’s coming to her!!!
You all have said it ALL. Mental illness seems to run in the family and the poor little girl paid for it with her life. Let her mom and grandmother have the same thing done to them. Amen.
