President Eelect Barack Obama Asks Indicted Illinois Governor to Resign Wednesday, December 10Th, 2008.
It seems a major opinion…as Barack Obama-Asks Indicted Illinois Governor to Resign. Agreeing with the president-elect, is Illinois Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois and many others. They all feel that the the Governor, under the current circumstances, that it would be difficult for the governor to effectively do his job and serve the people of Illinois.”
Tuesday morning FBI Agents arrested Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, on federal corruption charges related in part to the selection of Barack Obama’s successor to the Senate.
Senator Durbin wrote to the Governor, very point blank…”Beyond guilt or innocence, the charges against you raise serious questions about your ability to carry out your duties as chief executive of our state.’” He then asked him not to chose a successor for Obama. Here are those words, “Because of the nature of the charges against you, no matter whom you were to select, that individual would be under a cloud of suspicion. That would not serve our state, our nation, or the United States Senate”
The Constitution gives the Senate the sole authority to decide who is qualified to serve as a senator.Even if one is duly appointed.
Also in the wind, Obama has supported legislation that Illinois lawmakers will consider next week, to authorize a special election to choose his successor. None-the-less, President Elect Barack Obama-Asks Indicted Illinois Governor to Resign.

Obama cannot possibly be President-elect until after January 8th.
Obama is not eligible to become President because one of his parents was a British subject at the time of his birth. Therefore, he is not a natural born US citizen.

what’s all this talk about calling for Blagojevich to “resign?” … “throw him in prison” sounds a lot more fitting
it gives me chills to see how calm and collected he continues to act
