Three German children have been caught trying to run away to Africa for a wedding in the sun.
Young romantic Mika, 6, and his 7-year-old girlfriend Anna Bell were so enamored with each other they planned an escape to tie the knot in a warmer climate.
Dragging along Mika's sister Anna-Lena, 5, the kids packed three suitcases "filled with food, swimming costumes, a lilo and even sunglasses," said police spokesman Holger Jureczko.
The idea for the romantic trip began when Mika told the two girls about his recent vacation in Italy. They decided to head for Africawhile their families slept on New Year's Day.
"From this, the children began to make plans for the future," Jureczko said.
In the early hours of 2009, the children left their house in the suburbs of Hanover, and took a tram for the central station.
As they waited for the train to the airport wearing their holiday gear, they caught the attention of a guard who contacted police.
Two officers managed to convince the young lovers that they would struggle to get to Africa without money or a plane ticket.

JACKSON, Ohio – Police say an grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his baby sitter.

Eighteen-year-old Nathan Beavers was hospitalized Sunday with minor wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Police say another teen was also injured.

Witnesses told police the child was angry because Beavers accidentally stepped on his foot. Beavers was watching the child at a mobile home in Jackson with several other teenagers and several other children.

Hi Sharon,

My question was still not answered. I was wondering about the "link" to the police report about the abuse, per your "heading" on this page.

Also, the grandmother did NOT say, "the men were to strict on him". She said, "they were to hard on him". She is his grandma and any punishment to her is to strict. The reference was NOT towards Tim. You need to get your fact's right. I understand you are in FL, but if you are going to put your words down and make them sound like a fact, then you need something to back it up.

So what is the link to the police report?

I still can not find it. You said, "you write about what you read and how you feel". I would like to see this report you read.

thanks sharon i agree with alot of what you said. i said on another blog- wmicentral.com that i took a short break from reading any news on this little boy because its so heartbreaking. then i go there to day to az family news and yet a 12 year old boy shoots his mother will spend time in jail til 18. what is going on these kids heads? it seems like every day no matter where you are some child is being abused of some way, gosh ther e are so many ways it just makes me so sick to my stomach. i feel so sorry for any child to be treated that way. cps needs to have a wake-up call. back to this little boy in arizona they need to re examine their gun laws. i've said we don't know what happened before, during and after the dirvorce.what matters is the mother is there now and has been by her son's side showing love and support. what else can we ask of her? i've prayed from day one and will continue to pray for this little boy and his family. i just hope the mother has the strength, gets the support she needs so she can give her son the love and support he needs through this horrible ordeal. if you would like to email the judge it goes to the defense lawyers and they forward it for us- office@az crime dog.net attn: judge roca and again if you would like to write to the little boy and the mother you can in care of the aunt- amanda mondoza p.o. 1256. st.johns,az.85936. i've contacted who i thought could help and now i just continue to pray for this little boy. you know i've prayed for the victims families as well, but my heart continues to break every day of the way he is being treated. i hope he gets out soon with his mother and they both get the help they need to live somewhat a normal and healthy life and she the mother never, never give up on her son no matter what because he needs her more now more than ever.

Hello Dave,

The 1000 beatings are a matter of record. It was not something that I was drawing conclusions from or casting aspersions on. He told his case worker before any of this happened that his father was beating him to access. No one heard his little cry for help.

There are always three sides to any story.

One of the first signs of an abused child is that they is always happy. They hide the truth. They are ashamed of what is happening and think it is their fault. I bet there are records of him acting out in class. Disrupting the class perhaps even being the class clown. It also manifests it's self this way.

Unless you were in the household and saw what happened, no one knows any more than the next person. Myself included.

Everyone has an outside personality, that they show to the world. I know lots of abusers who were the nicest people you would ever want to meet, until the door closed and then their other personality takes over. They are wolves in sheep clothing. PLEASE, I am not saying this was the case with Vincent. Just giving examples.

Unfit mother...and unfit family background, it was not me who pointed that finger. Of course there was trouble in Denmark, that is why there is big problems now.

The Mother did not point any fingers at the Father. She only spoke about how much they ( the boy and Dad) loved each other and enjoyed each others company.

Face it, on the most part, boys need to be with their dads and little girls need to be with their mothers. How else are boys going to know what it means to be a man? Of course this isn't written in stone, but there are things that a boy needs to learn from his dad...not how to shoot a gun but how to stand up and pee and put the lid down...I am sure you get my drift.

Both parents are needed by children but that isn't the case in a lot of families, now-a-days.

The most important factor right now is the child. He is Vincents' legacy. I would think that you, being his fathers friend, would want to see that he gets fair treatment and help.

I am truly sorry for your lost of a friend. Don't let his son be lost too.

Keep us advised...

Sincerely,
Sharon

i knew vince and his father leroy and the uncle and had been around vince and his then fiance and the son. his son was always bubbly and seemed very happy being with them. when he would ask his dad to buy him something they would discuss whether it was in his best interest and if he really wanted it. sometimes he would say he really wanted the item and vince would buy it for him.
i, myself, find it rather strange that the son did all this and made these claims after his mother visited. ask yourself, why did vince have custody, why not the mother? what is her past like. what kind of influence did she give to the son during her visit? i really think that if her and her families past was looked into, you may be surprised what the public records contain as to her and her families background, as to arrest records and complaints. so you people who are so fast to run to a conclusion because of what the media has portrayed, shame on you for drawing conclusions from that source.

Hello Juno

I only report what I read and on how I feel. I am not an investigator. I am in Florida so cases like the Caylee Anthony are easier for me to post on.

But, if this little boy who did such a horrific act...he needs help. He doesn't need to be lock up by his self in a jail house. He is 8 YEARS OLD! Not 13, 18 or 28.

Perhaps I am the only one who thinks it is important that an 8 year old child was beaten 1000 times by two grown men.

Even his own Grandmother, the Mother of his Father says that the men were too strict on him.

I am sure that there are a lot of facts that will come to light and some that are only in an 8 year old head that may/will never come out.

What 8 year old's perception of what is happening in an instance like this, could be anyone's guess. The view of the world at 8 years old is not that of an adult.

Here is one instance from me. At eight we lived in a large split level house in Hollywood, Florida. We moved in 3rd grade to Tampa. Years later in my 20's I went back there to see how it had changed. It hadn't changed any. But it was still a split level house but it was a SMALL house. I couldn't believe how my interpretations of the house was when I was 8 and what it was when I was in 21.

It now appears that only a judge will interpret what went on. My take on that...everyone is given his right to a trail by his peers. Who are they going to get? Twelve 8 year old's to hear the trial? Point in case...

Sincerely,
Sharon

Why don't you have a link to the police report. You have a link to other stuff. I did a search for the police report and your site is the "only" site with this news. I check all the AZ news channels (3 /5 /10 /15 .com) sites and they have nothing with this news on them.

What is the link? Just wondering why you are the only one with the this news...."Police Reports Released Show Child Abuse-8 Year Old Charged with Double Murders"

I still feel someone else could of done these killings they just don't have enough evidence and it sounds like plenty of other leads. If the little boy did do it sounds like he was abused so either way they need to get him out of there, eiher way now he needs indepth Therapy and not locked up by himself in a cage -this is just wrong.

to the Minn. mother on the comments; I did have a great friendship w/ the other victim (knew each others family for many years) and I can vouch for him that he was indeed a great father to his twin girls and a good husband to his wife (she graduated a year before I did while her hubby did a year ahead of me) and for you to state that there was abuse on his part, well, that just gets me in a bind. Should you have some absolute proof on this matter, then I will recind my comments or limit them. But yes, the child does need some support as well as the mother.
