One day I would like to see a President go and serve food to the homeless on Thanksgiving Day, and eat what they eat. Perhaps the Obama’s are just the people to do that. George Bush never had to worry about where a meal came from his whole life. For 8 years while he was in office, that thought never popped into his head.
Camp David in Frederick County, Maryland, is a long way from the soup kitchens across America that will be feeding over a million people today, many of who probably haven’t had a good meal since last year.
George W Bush’s final Thanksgiving Day meal sounds delicious and I would never begrudge anyone a family Holiday meal. Being at Camp David in winter must be wonderful…but wouldn’t it had been nice see him do one decent thing…giving a pardon to “Scooter Libby,” doesn’t count. That wasn’t the right thing to do.
Happy Holidays

Here is Paula Dean with some of her speciality items. I just love her. Maybe they used her recipes at Camp David in 2208.
