How can it be? Simple. Researchers have been studying numerous primitive tribes who live solely off the land. Perplexed by their extraordinary health, researchers are studying why these tribes have better health and even teeth, than developed countries. These simple tribes have documented no Heart Disease, Lupus, Arthritis or Osteoarthritis and very limited Diabetes. In fact, members of these tribes will work right up to the day of their death (most live to be about 100 years of age). I bet you are asking…How could this be? One thing this tribe has never done, is eaten a bite of processed food. Nor have they eaten one additive of anything in any of their meals. Compared to the average American, who eats hundreds of additives daily. Plus, they live an active life.

Naturally Treat Lupus Arthritis and Osteoarthritis With 7 Top Tips

1. Water. 80% of the world’s population is walking around dehydrated. Instead of drinking water we have become consumers of soda, tea, coffee, juices or anything with flavor. Unfortunately, most of these drinks (most contain caffeine) are causing your body to actually lose water and create a vicious cycle of dehydration and “poor health.” Sodas, tea, coffee and juices do not drains the toxin and impurities of your body. Water does and it will also begin to naturally treat the symptoms of Osteoarthritis. You should start drinking at least 10-12 tall glasses of water a day.

2. Processed foods, sugars and desserts…These types of foods will create havoc to your arthritis pain and inflammation. Stay away from fast foods, processed foods, sugars and desserts. These are food that literally hurt you. Only do healthy natural, healthy foods and you will notice a difference in 2 weeks. It is an excellent time of the year to take foods to the food banks anyway. Clean out all processed foods and start over.

3. Next nutrition. Your diet is the probably the biggest factor contributing to whether you will continue to struggle with Lupus. A good rule of thumb, is to always eat fresh, raw foods such as fruits and vegetables and as little of processed foods as possible. You should be eating as much water soluble fiber as possible (fresh fruits and raw vegetables).

4. Breathing. Very important, ask anyone who does yoga. I know it sounds stupid or maybe even goofy to focus on your breathing. But oxygen heals, all the way to our brains. And unfortunately, most people are not getting enough of it because of improper posture, stress and pollution.

5. Body Flushing . Don’t groan, you knew it was coming…Did you know that fasting and flushing has been done since biblical times? It is actually commanded to routinely fast for spiritual and physical purposes in the Bible. And it will also greatly help you in your struggle with Lupus, mentally and physically. I recommended to take a monthly fast (drinking only water or natural juices) to naturally flush the body of arthritic causing alkalines, toxins pollutants and impurities. Just one day…you can do it and lose weight.

6. Exercise…did I just hear another groan? If you are serious about treating Lupus, and are doing the steps listed above, we guarantee that you will start feeling good enough to start exercising in three weeks. And exercise, will eventually take stress off of joints by building muscle mass. With my joints in the condition they are in, I choose swimming. I can do more with less stress. And weight is taken off my body. I started off slow and added more laps each week.

7. Last but not least and perhaps the most important, Attitude. Lupus and living with pain every day is depressing. Do not let it become rehabilitating. Do not let it stop you. Remain positive, you can beat this. Look it in the eye and laugh! Remember they gave me a maximum of 7 years in 95…you do the math.

I only wish I had been able to have this information sooner! My mother recently died. She had skin cancer and lupus. If we had know about some of these, maybe we could have helped her lead a better life toward the end.

Thanks for the post, and I know this will help anyone struggling with this disease or anyone you may know that is struggling, I urge you to have them come here and read this article.

    Thanks again

  2. Dear Toni,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your Mother. I lost mine in 99 and to this day, it still seems like it was yesterday. As I think back about her last years, I do feel that she also had Lupus. We have so many of the same aliments. Some times it is like looking in a mirror. As well, I worry for my sister.

Lupus used to skip generations. But because of the environment, the toxins, pollution, chemicals, drugs, stress and other related issues that affect Lupus…I do not think that is the case, any more. Of course as you know, I am not a researcher, scientist or a physician. Just a survivor of Lupus.

Everyone should follow the 7 steps…for good health and a better tomorrow…especially if there is Lupus in your genealogy.

Please come back and see us soon. There will be more posts on Lupus coming up…why don’t you get on our mailing list (located in the top right front page of BBAC)?

    Until then…

  2. [...] I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. I have had it most of my life. I was not diagnosed with it until Decenmber of 1995. All those years of being ill and being miss-diagnosed with other diseases, had taken it’s toll on my body and in the end, they gave me 7 years max to live, with the accelerated path SEL was taking. Do the math…I proved them wrong. You have to be a real fighter when it comes to Lupus. [...]
