we all make mistakes yeah, but to the extent of killing things? i dont think so. very few ppl make that mistake, and they usually suffer the concequences from doing it. and not only did he just shoot those dogs, they were tortured, drwoned, beaten, hanged. the breeding females were put into “rape stands” and forced to mate. someone who could let those things happen and even participate in them would have to be mentally unsound and furthermore cold hearted. i believe he is where he should be, and should be monitored closely after his release.
i think micheal vick should rot in jail for the rest of his natural life . What he did to the dogs he had is unspeakble,… how are they ever going to be ok???? Shame on him.
I feel everybody makes mistakes in life people leave and they learn. We’re only humans and we’re not perfect so I feel everybody should just chill on Vick and sit back and think if that was you or one of family members or your child how would you feel, would you judge then. I think you would’nt hell you might be in embrrassed about it. So never judge a book by its cover because you never know the whole situation on whats going on. So people grow up and move on he has down his time and paid what he needed and could pay so please let it be.

Personally, I don’t but any of those products. I don’t buy products that are animal tested…that I know of.
You have made a very good point.
About the only people who can through the first stone are vegans and peta people and throw stones they did.
Bottom line he broke the law.
Plus we know that he is black and making too much money for the budda’s of the world. To over look that factor would be wrong.
But, he had an opportunity to do some good with his fame and he threw it away and showed children that he was above the law and did as he pleased. Harming animals as he did so.
He was on top of the pile and “he gave them the opportunity” to drag him down. He could have done so much with his fame and money. He chose his path. Not you, not me, not the bubba’s of the world.
Was his crime wrong yes…did they give him the most time he could get…no…were they severe in their punishment …I think yes…but you can’t tell people who love animals that. To them he is the worst.
Bottom line. He was guilty. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

i really believe what ever happened with the vick alleged dog fights happened but that was in the past could they please give the man another chance. we all make mistakes in our lives.
Before I even make this comment understand that Im a dog lover and I think its messed up what Vick did. But he served his time, thats all you can ask of the man.Once Vick gets out your about to see how much the NFL has become a business rathar than just a sport. Like it or not Vick was the face of ATL and bought all kinds of money to the city and state of GA. And if Matt Ryan wasnt around Im sure a lot of people here in ATL would be acting a lot diffrently towards Vick.I dont know why people think this would end his career,I think it will be far from it. He Think about it, he has been in jail still playing football and still training hard focusing on redemption.Sure he may not have the best strength trainers around him but he didnt have those people around when he was in pop warner,high school, or college (plus his workouts should be memorized by now).He naturally talented,still on a phenomanal level.Not to mention he is coming back young and well rested. He took a lot of shots when he played with the falcons due to a sorry “O” line and a horrible group of receivers at the time. I used to feel like I was watching barrys sanders play on the lions;having all the talent in the world surrounded by scrubs. Even though Vick messed up it sickens me even more to see how quickly people in GA turned on him ONCE THEY GOT MATT RYAN.Vicks got a lot of seasons ahead of him.Trade rumors are already surfacing.And if pac man jones can get 8 different chances,kobe can get away with rape,and all these baseball players cal lie under oath about steroids whats the difference if Vick plays again.

I didn’t have a thing against M Vic until he abused those dogs. Now I’m totally against him. Abusing dogs is a symtom of serial killers and the like. Okay, I’m not a doctor, but I have studied the FBI Profilers and they will tell you that anyone that abuses a defendless animal is due to higher crimes.
He desevers to be an outcast for the rest of his life. He had everything and lost it, Good! And NO NFL team would even THINK of putting him back on. GOOD! Because I have had dogs in my life since I was an infant, and all they want is love, food and water and you get in return a best friend that you can count on with your life. I have read some of the comments. Some I find astonishingly ignorant. Check the websight for Dogtown. This is where the dogs went to “recover”. Some will live out their lives there because they are so damaged. Did Michael Vick do anything to help any of the dogs who survived and are now living there. I am not sure of the answer to that question. If he has done nothing, I think that answers any question to his quality as a human being or lack. I believe if he has done anythng to right his wrong we would have heard it splashed all over the news. I love football, but I love animals more.
