Gus-The Worlds Ugliest Dog Dies From Cancer

9 year old, Gus a Chinese Crested dog, who won the title of “The Ugliest Dog in The World.”, dies from cancer. Gus has gone to the happy hunting ground. Even though he only had 3 legs and one eye at the time of his demise, I am sure there is a special place for him, in dog heaven.

Gus came from humble origins, a dog crate in someones garage until he adopted (he was rescued by Jeanenne Teed) his last family, the Teeds, in Gulfport, Florida.

Gus lived a long life, 9 years which is equivalent to 63 in human years. In his lifetime, in lost one leg to a skin tumor and one of his eyes, in a cat fight. But regardless, he came out smelling like a rose, as “The Ugliest Dog in The World.”

Special note: Gus, “The Ugliest Dog in The World,”, died from cancer, not from being ugly…

Though “The Ugliest Dog in The World.”, Gus will be missed by the Teeds’. I am not sure if his runner up will get the new crown Of “The Ugliest Dog in The World.” Non the less, Gus will be missed and had a very eventful life, for an ugly dog.
