“First PREGNANT Man” is Expecting His Second Child in June of 2009

The “First Pregnant Man” is expecting a second child. His first birth was to a daughter earlier this year.

The First Pregnant Man, Thomas Beatie, who is a married man…who used to be a woman, is expecting a second child on June 12, 2009.

After giving birth to his first child, Susan, on June 29, 2007, he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone therapy. He and his wife, wanted to have another baby.

Thomas reports that “I feel good, I had my checkups…And everything is right on track. The baby is due on June 12 of 2009.”

Thomas Beatie, lives with his wife Nancy, in Bend, Oregon.

Thomas, who was born a woman but underwent male hormone testosterone therapy and had a mastectomy before he was legally declared a man. He did however, keep his female reproductive organs, when he underwent a sex change in the late 1990s.

He and his wife, Nancy decided they wanted to start a family and decided that he would under go artificial insemination.

His daughter, Susan’s made him the “first pregnant man” and now he will be known as “The First Pregnant Man to have two children.” Susans’ birth, was not Cesarean, he carried her full term.
