Obama Elected President In Historic Election of the People
…
The People Have Spoken
America has spoken. The people have spoken. Obama Elected as President.
It comes a time in many of our lives when an event happens in the United States or around
the world that you can remember exactly where you were during that event.
Sometimes it is a positive event like man’s first steps on the moon, and sometimes it’s an event far more negative like the bombing of Pearl Harbor or the tragedy of 911. Regardless of whether it was positive or negative, the event was so huge in your life that it simply becomes embedded in your mind and you never forget what you were doing at that exact moment.
Where Were You When America Changed Forever
Tonight was one of those times for America and its citizens. It is a time that you will always remember and it doesn’t matter what color your skin is or what political party you claim. It is a time when you are truly proud to be an American citizen. It’s a time when we cheer our process, our people power, and the dream.
As the entire world watched, and in some places celebrated, we stood up and showed them why America is still the greatest country on the planet. It is not about military power or economic wealth. It’s about a certain blend of many different people that honestly believe that anything is possible.
It is why people risked their lives to make it to the shores of this country decades ago, and it is the same reason they are still risking their lives today. On November 4th, 2008, Americas came together as never before and secured another prominent place in the world’s history–in our history.
Anything Is Possible If You Believe It
If there is one thing that is known aout America, it would be the indisputable fact that we believe anything is possible. Barack Obama elected as President has solidified that belief, and proven once again, that “if you believe it, you can achieve it.”
The election of Barack Obama as President of the United States shows what makes this country so truly amazing. It’s a proud day to be an American and the tears prove it.

As a Canadian who has lived in the USA I am beaming today so bright that I am probably visible from Mars.
Finally we will have change. Much needed change.
This truly is a very historical moment in time and one that I a so very grateful to have lived to wittness. This is far better than when man took thier first step one the moon.
This truly will change the way the whole planet thinks about and percives their fellow man. A certain greater respect for each other is I am sure to follow.
Let be known that there were a tremendous amount of Canadians Dancing in the Streets Last night and that my firends is a lot better than going to War.
Wishing Ombama the very best ride of his life. He has a very big job ahead of him however I am sure that he can handle it.
