Hello Queen,
I am having a real hard time figuring out who you are pulling for so I thought I would send this little poem just for something to think about.
‘Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap\
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.
When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!
He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out\
To tear my country apart!
‘ On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi’
He screamed at the pairs!
They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

Hello George, the BOOMER;
Thanks for the really funny poem…if you are having a hard time figuring out who I am pulling for…then darlin’ you are dumber than Sarah Palin…and I don’t think you are…can any one be that gullible?
Wait till you see my next post on her. She just is too easy a prey not to pick on.
I was just about to sign off on your comment when I remembered the Socialism remark at the end.
You know George, you seem like a really nice guy, I like people who put humor to their idealism…BUT…(there is always a BUT or a HOWEVER with me…)…if you want a good lesson in Socialism…go talk to Sarah Palin. What she does in her state each year is distribute the wealth around tax time. Each year Alaskans get a nice big check from her and oil proceeds. If that isn’t Socialism at it’s best…well, what is??? I await your reply…
~Aren’t you sorry you got me going? LOL~
And why we are on the subject of the McCains camp…can you tell me what he has done for the middle class and below? Because I am not in the group that he supports…you know the wealthy, the elite, big business, the beautiful people…the ones who go out on their wives and divorce them because they are not beautiful or able to walk any more and marry Billionairess.
You know the kind, the ones who do what they want in order to get ahead and because it pleases them at the moment. The ones who support big business and not the workers. Yes darlin’, if there ever was a pyramid scam it is John McCain group. The money is at the top and then it trickles down. I do not know about you, but I am at the base of the pyramid.
“Thank you” for stopping by BBAC and I hope to see and hear more from you.
It is always a pleasure to hear from our readers, even when they don’t agree with us. I love controversy. don’t you?!
Let me ask you something, George…Friday, Studs Terkel died…did you ever read any of his books? I just did a post on him [under "in the News"]. And at the end of the post are some of his books…you should get one…did you know that Bob Dylan admired him…and if you don’t know how fickle Dylan is…whewwwwwwwwww…LOL
See ya in the funny papers, George…
Southern smiles and world peace,

Hello Queen,
Golly gee, Queen, you do carry on. I thought the schools in our days did a better job of teaching. Socialism in its purist form is government owned, government oversite or run, and government redistribution. It then expects its subjects who did all the work to think of them as fair and benevolent for giving back enough to live.
Sarah Palin (Alaska), on the other hand, simply takes part of the oil tax revenues and distributes that part back to its citizens for spending, investing, living, ect. This in turn helps keep some of the money out of pork spending liberal congress peoples hands, especially those classified as the MOST liberal (Obama). What Alaska is doing is hardly socialism.
You do have to be careful when you ‘get going’. You can’t have it both ways. Praise one politician for saying I will only tax the wealthy and attempt to cut the other for taking a state revenue tax on it’s minerals and giving back a share to its citizens. Kentucky, a big coal producing state, does not do that! AND IT IS TYPICALLY RED!
`Aren’T you sorry I got me going?~ LOL
This article out of the Los Angeles Times makes the following statements:
http://articles.latimes.com/2008/sep/05/nation/na-surplus5
‘Except for the $1,200-per-person fuel rebate, Palin has taken a firm stand against blowing through the surplus, socking away billions for education and underfunded state employee pensions.’
‘In 2007, she used the governor’s line-item veto powers to cut $231 million in capital projects from the Legislature’s spending bills, and in May she rejected proposals totaling $250 million.’
‘“She has the potential for exercising budget discipline with legislators who see money on the table and want to spend to the last dime,” he said.’
The truth is that every politician in their vast decision making agendas makes decisions that some will like and hers will dislike, period. Some, however, do not care what you or I think once they are in power but some only ask for a fair minded outlook.
One email stated ‘You couldn’t get a job at McDonalds and become District Manager after 143 days of experience.’ Now I understand that Obama might have a FEW more days than that but President?
I know this is getting long but just one more consideration. Families are the makeup of this great nation and I hate it when any family breaks up. If the info concerning McCain’s divorce is correct, shame on him, I certainly do not condone it.
But here you go ‘by golly’ shifting the subject. Politics vs personal, personal vs politics. When Bill Clinton was buying boxes of cigars and asking what the definition of ‘is’ is, the liberals were all saying “that is his personal life and I don’t care what he does”. They don’t care until it involves conservatives. Then!!!!!
Congress presently has an approval rating of about 14 and according to some surveys hit a low of 9, both all time lows. Very few of the liberal media seem to focus on this because Congress only hit this low after the Dems took over two years ago.
Queen, this will be my last post on this in that this newbie is trying to develop three sites all at the same time. I do enjoy your site. Your a little hard core sometimes, especially on Govenor Palin. I think I discovered the real reason why. It is because she does not wear a funky hat. LOL
Enjoy the seasons,
Boomer
Hello Queen,
One more time real fast.
I could not help but notice the ‘cozy’ picture of Bush and McCain. If their skin was dark it would make you think it was Obama and Rev Wright before it became expedient for Obama to say ‘bye’ after becoming presidential nominee.
Boomer
OH MY GOSH….Boomer George…do you mean that Obama is dark skinned..
…OH MY GOSH… I hadn’t even noticed!
Thanks for bringing that to my attention…you are so PC.
I will have to contemplate what that means…WEDNESDAY! LOL
See ya at the polls and please don’t be a big cry baby when Obama wins.
I hate to see grown men cry…don’t you just hate when that happens?
I already voted last week…I will be off to the polls to help.
See ya’ in the funny papers George…good luck.
Smiles
Sharon
