John McCain & Sarah Palin-Out of Touch on Women’s Health Issues
A vote for McCain and Palin is a vote for total Disregard For Women’s Health
Everyone with a lick of sense, knows John McCain and Sarah Palin are out of touch on women’s health issues.With McCain’s infamous air quoting of the word “health” to Palin’s countless contradictions on reproductive health care (like all of her flip-flop decisions…even the Bridge to Nowhere). Women will be in bad shape…big poo poo, if McCain and Palin make it to the White House.
But what Sarah Palin told the American public last week was a stark confirmation of where they stand. And is why I can openly say that John McCain and Sarah Palin are Out of Touch on Women’s Health Issues. Womens medical issues were discussed during an interview on “Focus on the Family,” with anti-choice leader James Dobson, he conducted an interview with Palin and he brought up the Republican Party platform’s position on choice, identifying it, in his own words as, “the strongest pro-life, pro-family document to come out of a political party.”
Simply stated,the Republican platform seeks a constitutional amendment banning all abortions, with no exceptions for rape and incest, and no exception to save the life of the woman. Face it ladies and gents, that’s not pro-family…that’s pro-government in women’s lives. That means me go back to going in back doors and looking for people with coat hangers.
Not only did Palin express her support for the platform’s principles, but when she was asked if McCain also “strongly supports those views” and whether she believes he will “implement it,” she responded, “I do, from the bottom of my heart.” If she votes for that she has no heart, at least for women’s medical issues or women.
This is the most severe anti-woman principles, that there are. This will leave women’s health issues not even up for discussion. PERIOD. Women will be forced to look else where, as in earlier years. John McCain & Sarah Palin are so Out of Touch on Women’s Health Issues that they should be riding in a covered wagon up to the White House.
If McCain upholds the Republican Party platform while in office, where will this leave teenagers or women who are impregnated as a result of rape or where will this leave the woman who might die if she doesn’t receive abortion services? These are called medical abortions. Shouldn’t these women have the right to make these personal decisions about their health, about their lives? Perhaps they should take the right to vote away from women as well…
Palin as well, stands behind the Republican party and has stated, “They are there, they are solid, we stand on them and again I believe that it is the right agenda for the country at this time. Very, very clear and contrasted tickets in this election, November 4th.”
Governor Sarah Palin is assuring Americans that a McCain/Palin administration will implement the very harshest of anti-woman policies, meaning no choices, and no exceptions. WOWEN and when you’re at the polls, use your vote wisely, don’t put the government in control of women’s health and lives…you give up rights you will lose them.
What Sarah Palin does with her body is her right. She had better leave my decision the hell up to me, about my body and my health. If I am allowed to have breast implants I should be allowed to have an abortion or medical abortion. I am 56 and I do not want any children! That is my decision not the Republican parties! And this action makes John McCain and Sarah Palin Out of Touch with this Womens’ Health Issues!
